Show host Nick Cannon, 43, asked Chrissy, 43, after she was unmasked why she wanted to do the show.

‘I still think I’m educating people on me being a singer so it was part of the reason why I wanted to do the show,’ Chrissy said. ‘We are really going full throttle. You don’t even know how much sweat is in this suit.’

‘And they gave you wings which is not easy,’ Robin Thicke, 47, said.

‘Heavy wings and I was like let me challenge myself,’ Chrissy said. ‘And I’m glad that I did because I learned a lot about myself. ‘

‘You pulled it off for real,’ Ken Jeong, 54, said.

Poodle Moth, who had been previously saved by Rita Ora, 33, hitting the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell, said in her clues package that there was another time in her life when she was saved and was so down on her luck she had to borrow money for gas.

She recalled being afraid of answering her phone just in case it was a debt collector, but once had a feeling and picked up the phone and it led to her big break.

Poodle Moth, in her giant furry moth costume, then took the stage and sang Price Tag by Jessie J while the audience danced along.

‘I’m just so happy that you came back and we gave you another shot and you took it,’ Rita said. ‘That was amazing!’

The phone rang and it was Poodle Moth’s sister who said she was a Golden Globe nominee. Rita thought she was Faith Hill. Ken thought she might be Melissa McCarthy. Jenny correctly guessed that it was Chrissy Metz.

‘I know Chrissy Metz famously struggled before she got This is Us,’ Jenny, 51, said.

Poodle Moth was one of the final four contestants who competed durng the show’s quarter finals. This episode also featured a new twist with a blue bottom that would trigger a special clue delivery from Prime.

Group C champion Clock was the first to take the stage. She said she was a young mother and wanted to be a singer from a young age. Clock then performed Gloria Estefan’s hit Get On Your Feet. The crowd waved fans and danced along.

‘She came to bring it!’ Nick said.

The Men in Black brought out a giant phone and handed the receiver to Clock.

The voice on the phone was Clock’s son who told her to ‘remember you performed for the Pope, Ken Jeong should be a piece of cake.’

‘That was my son,’ said Clock who started crying.

‘I think this might be Stephanie Mills,’ Robin said.

‘Why couldn’t this be Sister Sledge?’ Jenny said. ‘They performed for the Pope.’

‘I think this is Shirley Bassey,’ Rita Ora said. ‘She is on the Vatican’s official playlist.’

Gumball, with a head full of colorful gumballs, went next. He said he had doubts that he belonged on the stage with the other singers. He said he was a former athlete and wanted to leave it all on the stage. Gumball sang Jason Mraz’s hit I’m Yours.

‘That was real,’ Ken said.

The crowd chanted ‘Gumball!’

‘You have a beautiful voice, an amazing tone,’ Jenny said. ‘I feel like this is a voice that should be in a famous boy band.’

For his clue, Gumball got a call from his wife who told him that watching him on stage reminded her of his time spent off Broadway.

Robin said he thought Gumball might be James Van Der Beek who played an athlete in Varsity Blues.

‘I think this is the guy who can do it all,’ Jenny said. ‘I think this is Derek Hough.’

Ken thought Gumball might be Taran Killam who was on Mad TV and Saturday Night Live. Ken said he needed one more clue.

‘I think it’s time to go Prime,’ Robin said.

A Prime truck pulled up outside the set and a doorbell rang. There was a package waiting and Ken brought it in.

‘Wow, a kids doctor kit,’ Ken said when he opened it and saw what was inside. ‘I was a doctor and I’m small like a kid.’

Ken said he believed it was related to a short film called Dr. Miracles that starred Taran and Randall Park, ‘who’s actually Taran Killam’s friend.’

Goldfish was the last contestant to take the stage. She shared that she had been through a lot in her career and grew up in Hollywood where she said she had to keep reinventing herself. Goldfish sang Unforgettable by Nat King Cole and danced across the stage when she finished.

‘You are truly a starlet and a frontrunner in this competition,’ Jenny said.

The phone rang and the Goldfish got a call and the man said she was so proud of her. Goldfish said the call was a ‘real sexy man that she loved dearly.’

Ken said the Goldfish was Nicole Scherzinger.

‘From panelist to contestant, bravo’ Ken said.

Robin thought instead Goldfish might be Hilary Duff. Jenny guessed it might be Julianne Hough.

After the votes were tabulated from the audience and the panel, Poodle Moth and Gumball had to compete in a Smackdown competition, while Clock and Goldfish moved on to the semifinals.

Poodle Moth and Gumball both sang Cher’s If I Could Turn Back Time while the panelists danced and sang along.
