Two Korean woman visiting Sydney were targeted by racist teenagers as they walked back to their hotel in the early hours of the morning.
Footage of the troubling attack was uploaded to Instagram this week with a caption explaining the Korean women from Melbourne, aged 23 and 32, were walking by Town Hall on Saturday night when they encountered the teenage girls.
‘(They) passed a group of young teenagers slurring racist remarks and threats towards them,’ the caption said.
‘The teenagers then turned from their direction of travel and began following the two Korean girls, bringing one of them to start recording for self defence.’

The footage shows one teenagers grabbing the younger of the Korean women and attempting to throw her to the ground.
The victim stumbles but manages to get back on her feet and the pair tussle before she is again thrown on the ground.
The teenager then repeatedly hits and kicks the woman in the head while the attacker’s friend, the second teenager, cheers her on, saying ‘bash the b***h’.
The second teenager then notices she is being filmed and attacks the Korean woman holding the camera.

Both of the Korean women are understood to have been injured in the attack and their phones were stolen by the teenagers.
Police said they are aware of the incident in George St about 4.30am Saturday.
‘Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command attended and spoke to two women – aged 23 and 32 – who had reportedly been assaulted by two females before the pair picked up the women’s phones from the ground and fled,’ they said.
One of the phones was recovered nearby after a second altercation, police said.
