Amanda Seyfried was spotted working on the set of her new television series Long Bright River in New York City on Monday.

The 38-year-old actress —  who skipped the 2024 Emmys to stay in — was dressed in blue, in character as a police officer.

The Mama Mia! star looked official in her patrol uniform, which included a black shirt and slacks with a heavy jacket complete with a police seal.

Her blonde hair was parted down the middle and pulled back into a low bun at the back of her head.

She skipped earrings and wore a light face of makeup that included soft pink cheeks and matching matte lipstick.

In another scene she was clad in a pair of dark jeans, a beige, ribbed, turtleneck sweater.

It was topped by a long black coat with a fuzzy, cream-colored collar as she sat behind the wheel of a car.

She toted a gun as she recorded a nighttime scene in the Big Apple, though the movie plot is set in Philadelphia.

Amanda is starring as a law enforcement officer in the show, which is based on the best-selling 2020 novel of the same name.

To prepare for the role, Seyfried went for a ride-along with real Philly cops along with author Liz Moore, according to PhillyVoice.com.

Her character’s name is Mickey and is ‘a police officer who patrols a Philadelphia neighborhood hard-hit by the opioid crisis.’

‘When a series of murders begins in the neighborhood, Mickey realizes that her personal history might be related to the case,’ the logline for the project reads.

The investigation leads to a search for Mickey’s sister, Kacey, an addict who has gone missing.

Up next for Amanda are two projects that have completed filming.

She stars in Seven Veils as a theater director who is producing the opera Salome, a show that is her mentor’s most famous work.

The multi-talented star promoted the project at February’s Berlin International Film Festival.

She also stars in the crime comedy I Don’t Understand You with Nick Kroll and Andrew Rannells.

Release dates for the works have not yet been announced.
