QPR’s mascot moggie Jude the Cat has been ‘fired’ after claims the furry costumed lothario ‘flirted with female fans on matchdays’.

The beloved mascot, who was named after the stadium’s cat called Jude, has reportedly been dismissed after he allegedly got a little too friendly with women at the football ground.

Jude has danced and cheered at games since 2008, according to the football club’s website.

It comes as the account on X, @QPRJudeTheCat, has not posted since March 8, The Sun told.

The current mascot actor has been in the role for several years, but now someone else will be wearing the suit.

A QPR source alleges that the cat, who is often seen with another mascot Spark the Tiger, was given multiple warnings to stop ‘trying it on’ with women at games.

The source told the Sun:  ‘He had the smoothest moves in the league but, unfortunately, he was a bit of a smooth talker, too.

‘Several people complained that he was trying it on with the ladies more than cheering on the lads on the pitch.

‘Jude was warned but he couldn’t help himself and the club had no choice.’

A QPR spokesperson declined to make a statement to The Sun.

has approached QPR for comment.
