Alleged double murderer Beau Lamarre-Condon has officially been struck off from the NSW Police Force.

Lamarre-Condon stands accused of murdering Sydney couple Luke Davies and Jesse Baird.

‘An off-duty police officer charged with two counts of murder in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs has been removed today from the NSW Police Force,’ police said.

‘Under section 181D of the Police Act 1990, the Commissioner has the ability to remove officers if she has lost confidence in their suitability to continue as a police officer.’

The couple’s bodies were found inside surfboard bags on February 27 at a rural property in Bungonia near Goulburn, about 200km southwest of Sydney.

Lamarre-Condon is accused of shooting the pair with his service weapon while off-duty on February 19.

Detectives allege Lamarre-Condon’s killing of Mr Baird with his police-issued gun was a premeditated attack after a months-long campaign of ‘predatory behaviour’ towards the man he had a brief ‘friends with benefits’ relationship with.

According to police, Mr Davies, a Qantas flight attendant, was allegedly murdered because he happened to be in the Paddington property at the time of his partner’s killing.

There was an extensive search for the couple but Lamarre-Condon initially would not tell police where their bodies were located.

He then spoke with a lawyer on February 27, more than a week after the alleged murders.

Lamarre-Condon was charged with two counts of murder and is currently in Silverwater Correctional Complex, in Sydney’s west.

He will face court in Sydney’s Downing Centre on April 23.

This is a breaking story. More to come.
