At least one person is dead and several others left injured following a shooting in Orlando last night.

Police responded to reports of shots fired around 11pm Wednesday in the area of Ironwedge Drive and South Lake Orlando Parkway.

Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple victims, with one dead. Officials have not confirmed the total number of victims or the extent of their injuries.

No information about potential suspects is being provided at this time. 

The Orlando Police Department confirmed its investigation is ongoing and officers are working to identify all the victims.

Footage from WFTV showed a heavy police presence near Ironwedge Drive and South Lake Orlando Parkway late Wednesday night.

The shooting took place in a residential area near what appears to be a condominium complex. 

Multiple police cruisers were stationed near the intersection and a cordon was put in place while authorities carried out their investigation.

Officials with Orlando’s Crime Scene Investigation unit were also called to the scene.

A police spokesperson told DailyMail.com: ‘We are working to identify all victims and their conditions. This is an ongoing investigation, once we have more information we will make that available.’
