Peter Stefanovic and Sylvia Jeffreys have purchased a new family home.

The pair snapped up a four bedroom property in Bronte for $6.35 million, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.

The California style bungalow was designed by Nick Bell Architects and described as a ‘luxurious beach house’.

It features a split level layout and a private north-facing garden that gets plenty of sun.

The house has retained a ‘heritage character’ thanks to ‘beautiful ornate ceilings’ as well as a ‘statement kitchen’.

The bungalow is a short walk to the nearby beach and includes a dining room featuring glazed walls.

The media power couple placed their Double Bay terrace on the market for $4.5million in July last year.

It was understood the journalists wanted a bigger home with room for their family, including their two young sons.

The new luxury two-story abode within the cosmopolitan eastern suburbs cost the couple $2.7 million back in 2016.

They had since added some renovations including a parking area for two cars and outdoor entertainment space in the rear courtyard.

Marketed by Ray White Double Bay’s Gavin Rubinstein, he described the property as spacious, with ‘seamless flow-through living areas’ with its open-plan living.

The couple tied the knot at the Ooralba Estate in Kangaroo Valley on April 1, 2017.

In 2020, Sylvia, 37, and Peter, 42, welcomed their first son, Oscar, now three years old, in February.

Just eight months later, the TV presenter revealed that she was pregnant with her second child, a son, Henry, now two.
