Katie Price has been told she has ‘too much baggage’ by Love Island star Anton Danyluk’s mum after setting her sights on the hunk for a second time. 

The former glamour model, 45, reportedly first took a fancy to the fitness fanatic, 28, during his initial stint on the ITV2 show in 2019, before finally making her feelings known during his recent return for All Stars. 

Earlier this week in the villa Anton also admitted his own crush on the newly-single Katie saying: ‘She fancies me as well by the way! From my last season. Facts. Look it up.’ 

However mum Sherie Ann, who hosts her own Instagram chat show, was less than pleased by the coupling and revealed she had warned off the I’m A Celeb star.

Speaking on Glasgow’s Go Radio on Tuesday she said: ‘The last time around Anton, it was put all in the newspapers that Katie Price had a fancy for Anton and Tommy [Fury]’.

‘So anyway, when he went into the beach hut this time, they asked him who he sort of had a wee fancy for and he just said Katie Price’.

She then revealed how she then phoned the former Celebrity Big brother winner asking her to appear on her show, before Katie said: ‘You’re boy’s fit, in fact, I’m single, Sherie Ann’.

‘I said, ‘Are you hun? You’ve got too much baggage for my boy!”’.

Back in 2019 a source told The Sun: ‘Katie is the biggest fan – a few years ago she fancied Chris Hughes  and now she’s got her eyes on Anton and Tommy [Fury].’

The drama of Katie’s love life has continued to rumble with her reportedly growing close to Married At First Sight UK star John Joe Slater following her split from fiancé Carl Woods.

She announced her break-up from car salesman Carl, 34, on New Year’s Eve.

And John Joe, also known as JJ, is said to have caught her eye when they met following his appearance on the most recent series of MAFS UK last year. 

With a source telling The Sun: ‘They’ve met a few times and are texting each other constantly.

Katie had spoken of marrying and staring a family with Carl many times in recent years but she announced she had split from him as she took to social media while seeing the New Year in with her pal Kerry Katona.

JJ rose to prominence on MAFS UK last year when he was initially he was paired with Bianca Petronzi.

When the the spark in their relationship fizzled he went on to exchange messages with transgender bride Ella Morgan behind Bianca’s back.

JJ and Ella were exposed during a dramatic dinner party when Ella’s groom Nathanial Valentino exploded over the messages and stormed out, leaving the show.

Ella and JJ continued in the experiment together but later split during a vow renewal.

It comes after Kerry vowed to help Katie ‘turn her life around’ following her split from Carl.

Reality star Kerry, 43, and Katie have been friends for years after appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! together in 2004.

The pair spent New Year’s Eve together last month and it’s now emerged Kerry is determined to help Katie get over any heartache following her split from Carl.

A source told Closer magazine: ‘In the past, when she’s been single, Katie has been known to go a bit wild as a bit of a coping mechanism, so pals are hoping she won’t be heading into trouble again.

‘Kerry has really been encouraging Katie to slow down a bit and look after herself.’

The insider added: ‘Katie leans quite heavily on Kerry for support and guidance, and Kerry wants to help Katie continue to turn her life around this year.

‘Katie had some low moments in 2023 and it’s heartbreaking that she doesn’t seem able to move on.’

It is claimed Kerry will be ‘blunt, honest and candid’ with Katie if she feels she needs to be to keep her on the right track, with the source insisting: ‘Kerry doesn’t take any rubbish.’

Showing herself to be a true woman of the times, Katie embarked on a romance with former stripper Kieran after the two met on the now-defunct Blackberry Messenger service in 2012. And just two months after altering the paths of their lives via those thumb-tapped fateful opening messages, the twosome would go on to exchange nuptials in the Caribbean. Kieran proposed to a thrilled Katie on Christmas Day 2012, and just three weeks later, the pair would be pronounced husband and wife in the idyllic shores of the Bahamas on January 16, 2013. They had their marriage blessed in Weston-super Mare, and in the months that followed, it appeared that Katie had finally found her happily ever after. They welcomed son Jett in August 2013, and daughter Bunny in August 2014. But Katie’s world came crashing down in 2014, when she discovered that Kieran had cheated on her with her close friend of 20 years, Jane Pountney, and was enjoying a fling with another of her pals, Chrissy Thomas. After publicly lashing out at all parties involved (and naming her pet pigs after her friends-turned-foes), Katie appeared determined to make things work when she renewed her vows with Kieran in 2015.
