Davies is survived by her mother, actor father Brian Davies, 85, and brother Michael, 43.

Slezak welcomed Amanda with Brian in 1981. He is known for roles in American Gigolo, Convoy, and The Age of Innocence.

Slezak played Viki on One Life To Live from 1971 until the television finale in 2012.

She won six Daytime Emmy Awards during her time on the show – the most of any daytime drama actress.

Later on her daughter Amanda played the character in a number of flashbacks in 2002 and in 2013, when the show was revived as a web series.

Slezak is the daughter of Walter Slezak, who is a Tony-winning actor, famous for starring in Alfred Hitchcock’s Lifeboat.

This is the second death to affect the One Life To Live cast in less than two months.

Actor Kamar de los Reyes, who played cop Antonio Vega, died on Christmas Eve at the age of 56, following a battle with cancer.

It remains unclear what type of cancer Kamar had been battling or even when it was diagnosed as it seems like those details were kept very close to the vest.

He first began his signature role as Antonio Vega on One Life To Live in 1995.

His character was a former gang member who had unjustly served time in prison for a murder which had been done in self-defense.

Kamar would go on to leave the daytime drama series in 1998 but would return two years later in 2000.

He ultimately would remain on the program – with his character evolving into a lawyer and then a cop – until 2013 when it met its demise.
