One woman has kitted out her whole home with bargains from Facebook Marketplace.

During these financially precarious times, finding the money to give your home a bit of a makeover can often be hard.

However, Becky Chorlton from Lymm in Cheshire, has managed to fill her home with a selection of pieces, from her ‘dream’ dining table – to a TV cabinet that she bagged for free.

The Becky’s Bazaar owner regularly takes to TikTok to share her incredible discoveries.

She even bagged her 'dream' dining table, which she drove over two hours to get, for £150

In one video she penned: ‘Four months on and the thrifted furniture is still going strong.’

Giving her TikTok following of over 195,000 a quick tour of her home, she explained how she had furnished the entire property by mainly using Facebook Marketplace.

Rehashing all the items she has thrifted into her home, she revealed all the cheap items she managed to style for her home.

She said: ‘First up, we got super lucky and found an item for free. It was this TV box cabinet, which we put in the games room.’ 

Following this she showcased her ‘dream dining table’ that she bought for £150, quipping: ‘We had to drive halfway across the country for it, but it was 100% worth it.

Describing it as one of her ‘favourite finds’, Becky showed off her giant smiley face lamp – which cost her £35.

‘I absolutely love him and he works perfectly in the living room,’ she gleefully shared.

But the frugal thrifter’s amazing finds don’t begin and end with a dining table and a lamp, she has also spotted a £200 sofa that is able to furnish two rooms in her abode.

She explained: ‘I found this modular sofa on Facebook for £200. I absolutely love the colour and it works perfectly in both the living room and the games room.’

During her search across the marketplace, Becky has managed to bag a £600 arched lamp for only £30 – a discovery she labelled as ‘crazy’.

‘I also managed to find a lampshade in the charity shop for £3.99 and here’s what it ended up looking like. I’m so happy with it,’ she added.

The business owner has also been on the lookout to furnish her house with smaller items to bring it all together.

In another recent clip, she displayed her additional finds whilst kitting out her home using the social media platform, as well as eBay. 

She said: ‘I picked up this Kartell side table for £30 I absolutely love the way it looks.’

After showing off her dark blue side table, Becky revealed the £10 bargain that is her new white IKEA coffee table.

Labelling it as a ‘perfect’ eBay find for her living room, Becky quipped: ‘By the way everything in here was from Facebook marketplace.’

Displaying her yellow ochre ceiling light shade, she explained: ‘I found this lamp shade and I popped it on a floor lamp that I got from Facebook market place for £35.’ 

People flocked to the comments in awe of her Facebook Marketplace furnished home, calling it ‘beautiful’.

One wore: ‘It’s actually amazing what you’ve managed to find on Facebook!’

A second chimed in: ‘90% of my house is market place too. It the first place I go to when I want anything.’

Another penned: ‘Can’t wait to learn to drive, my house is going to pop from Facebook marketplace 

However, Becky is no stranger to sending TikTok into meltdown with her bargain finds. 

The vintage clothes seller previously revealed she triples her money by selling car boot sale finds on Depop, has revealed her top tips to bag a bargain. 

She often TikTok and Instagram showing off designer items that she has picked up for as little as 50p.

Speaking to The Sun she revealed her top tips to bag a bargain in a car boot sale including ‘don’t be afraid to haggle’ and to ‘network with sellers’. 

She said: ‘Join Facebook groups for local car boot sales so you know what time they start and if they’re still going ahead due to weather disruptions.’

Secondly, Becky said it’s vital to take your own bags as you don’t want to be stuck carrying everything.

Becky owns Becky’s Bazaar, which focuses on selling vintage clothing items on Depop for a profit 

Another tip was to have an idea of how much you want to pay for an item before you ask the seller for a price.

She also said don’t be afraid to haggle saying: ‘If they’re wanting slightly more than you’re willing to pay there’s no harm in haggling a little bit – don’t be afraid of rejection!’

While her fourth tip was to network with the sellers to see if they had more items at home.

She said: ‘If a particular stall has certain items for sale you’re interested in get chatting to the seller – ask them if they have any more and would be willing to make a deal.’
