Brooke Shields has some gray hairs in her famous eyebrows that are also ‘thinner’ than they used to be.

Brooke – whose daughter Grier wore her mom’s dress recently – explained how her brows have changed in her 50s: ‘They’re thinner, they’re greying, the whole thing.’

But you won’t find her tinting her brows again.

The 58-year-old actress – who has become known for her famous brows over the years – said she has been there and done that with bad results.

‘I tried dyeing them once, and it was a huge mistake, because they were so dark. I looked crazy,’ she told People magazine.

However, she is still ‘open to all of it’ when it comes to other ways to look after her appearance.

She admitted ‘it’s definitely been frustrating’, as she’s having to take new steps.

She added: ‘I never used stuff to fill in my lashes, and now I need to.’

Despite being wiling to embrace new techniques, she’s much happier with a simple beauty routine.

She added: ‘Who has the time?’

In 2021 the Endless Love star shared the secret to her famous bushy brows in a video she shared to Instagram.

‘Here’s how I create THE eyebrows! Thoughts, feelings, emotions?’ she captioned the Instagram video.

Fans were expecting her to grab a brow pencil and show them her technique.

But instead, the Pretty Baby actress grabbed a Prismacolor Ebony Graphite Drawing Pencil which is used by artists for sketching

‘It’s actually for an artist to draw,’ Shields said before using the art pencil to fill in sparse spots in her brows.

After that, the Suddenly Susan alum, put away the artist’s pencil – which wasn’t approved by makeup artists – and became a brand ambassador for True Botanicals.

She revealed: ‘I wasn’t much of a serum person until I started working with True Botanicals, and that was really because I never knew what it did, or how it worked, or if it worked.’

She’s much more focused on the idea that ‘if you feel good, you’re going to look better,’ which is an ethos she’s trying to pass onto her daughters Rowan, 20, and Grier, 17.

She said: ‘They’re so stunning and I will stand for none of it on their sweet, beautiful, faces.

‘The culture now is so different, the pressure to lip injections and all of these things. I’m like, “As long as you’re living under my roof, you’re not doing any of that.”‘
