Lauren announced last month that she would be returning to the cast of TOWIE after an 11-year absence.

The influencer told OK! that she plans to return to the reality show in February and has already started thinking about potential storylines.

Lauren was part of the original 2010 line-up for the programme, which partly focused on her long-term relationship with Mark Wright at the time, before she left in 2012 after their break up in series six.

She returned briefly in 2015 for The Only Way Is Essexmas and, looking to the future, said she wants to ‘meet up with Amy Childs and go for lunch with the kids!’

In the time Lauren was gone, she became a mother to Larose, two, and Lorena who sadly passed away just after birth.

Lauren shared both children with her ex-boyfriend Charles Drury, who is eleven years her junior.

Charles was charged with inflicting actual bodily harm on Lauren on August 4, 2022, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.

He is also charged with engaging in ‘controlling or coercive behaviour’ against Lauren between August 1, 2020 and August 5, 2022.

Charles pleaded not guilty to the charges during a brief preliminary hearing at the court in the east London borough of Redbridge.

Judge Oscar Del Fabbro adjourned the case ahead of a further pre-trial hearing at the same court on February 12, 2024, followed by a trial, listed for five days, starting on March 18, 2024.

The two were seen together in November for the first time since the alleged assault on the day of Lorena’s funeral.

Meanwhile, Lauren and Mark were childhood sweethearts and dated for 10 years after meeting as teenagers. They got engaged on the show in 2011 but split for good five months later.

Mark is now married to actress Michelle Keegan, and the two have been together for over 10 years.

In series two, Lauren had a famous furious row with ex Mark Wright as she pushed him into a swimming pool.

The fiery argument between the exes occurred after Mark failed to invite Lauren to his pool party in case she made guests feel uncomfortable.

Mark said: ‘This is why you don’t come to my parties,’ to which Lauren fired back: ‘Shut up!’ and pushes him into the swimming pool to the screams of fellow partygoers.

Fans will also remember Lauren for her explosive rows on the show, including ending her friendship with Jessica Wright at Mario Falcone’s birthday party.

And even though both probably wanted to sort things out and move on, it wasn’t meant to be as the claws came out and insults flew.

When Lauren’s good friend Frankie Essex encouraged her to go and talk to Jess, she agreed, but then things started to go downhill very quickly before the girls finally called time on their friendship.

It came after the tanning entrepreneur accused Jess and her family of ruining their relationship with her brother Mark.

Lauren was reported to have claimed if it wasn’t for his family, she would still have a future with Mark.

Jessica told Lauren: ‘ I introduced you into my friends when i was 15 and you’ve always had an issue with me. I’m not interested, stay away from my family.’

Lauren answered: ‘Say sorry for once in your life and grow up.’

Frankie the tried to get involved and told them both: ‘Come on, what are you doing, you’ve know each other for so many years.’

Looking angry and indignant and close to tears, Jessica told Lauren before walking out: ‘ l love you and care for you and all you do is throw it in my face. I don’t want to know anymore, don’t want it in my life, I want to go home.’

After Mark, Lauren dated Jake McClean on-and-off from 2012 to 2016. In July 2022, Jake tragically passed away in a Turkey car crash. His then-girlfriend Yazmin Oukhellou was also in the car, but she survived.

From 2016 to 2018 Lauren found love again with serial jailbird Joey Morrison.

On Channel 5’s In Therapy, Lauren said: ‘This is the weirdest relationship ever, but it’s exciting and I think that’s why I like it.’

She began dating Charles in 2020, and split from him after the alleged assault. She now insists they are platonically co-parenting, but has refused to rule out reconciling with him.
