Los Angeles has been hit with heavy rain these last few days, but the grey skies hasn’t stopped Jennifer Garner from enjoying a relaxing stroll.

The Alias actress, 51, was seen going for a walk in the LA neighborhood of Marina del Rey with a friend on Thursday.

Jennifer donned a black jacket, leggings, trainers, and stylish blue cap.

The actress – who recently opened up about attending the Met Gala in 2007 – appeared fresh faced and kept her hairstyle fuss-free, opting for a classic ponytail.

Despite the stormy skies, she appeared happy and relaxed as she spent time with friend.

The star flashed a smile as she strode across the street, her hands plunged into her front jacket pockets.

It comes after Jennifer confessed she found Anna Wintour’s infamous Met Gala so ‘scary’ on the one occasion she attended that she never returned.

The actress made the admission in a recent video shoot for Vogue, in which she broke down her ‘quick as possible’ beauty routine – admitting that she tends to steer away from full glam, except for very special occasions, like the Met Gala.

However, while Jennifer certainly looked every inch the confident superstar when she attended the event in 2007 – she admitted that she didn’t feel quite so bold behind-the-scenes.

‘I went to the Met Ball exactly one time… I found it a little scary so I haven’t been back!’ she shared, while a picture of her standing on the red carpet flashed up on the screen.

‘But I wore that night this magical red Valentino gown and I was his date, and that was really like majestic and special,’ she gushed in the clip.

Jennifer’s one appearance at the Met Gala coincided with the theme Poiret: King of Fashion, which honored the French fashion designer.

Although she didn’t love her Gala experience, the actress gushed about her gorgeous dress – even giving it a shout out on Instagram in 2018, over a decade after she first wore it.

While sharing a chic throwback picture of herself wearing the bright red, strapless gown, Jennifer revealed she was very secured in the ensemble, writing: ‘You will never appreciate using the bathroom alone until you’ve been sewn into a dress.’

Jennifer was previously married to actor Ben Affleck from 2005 to 2018 and together they share three children: daughters Violet, 18, Seraphina, 14, and son Samuel, 11.

Since their divorce, the former power couple have moved on – Jennifer has been in a long-term relationship with businessman John Miller while Affleck married Jennifer Lopez last year.

Last month, Jennifer reflected on daughter Violet turning 18 and going to college.

‘I’m about to have an adult,’ Jennifer told Live with Kelly & Mark. ‘Three days. I’m three days from my eldest turning 18.’

Violet is also selecting a college to attend: ‘She’s in the middle of all that,’ Jennifer said. ‘It is exciting. I can see the stress, even though the excitement and stress go hand in hand. But she’s handling it like a champ and she’s totally in charge.’

‘I’m not having to say, “Are you doing this, are you doing that?” she said. ‘She’s got it. She’s a self-starter.’
