‘Just finished the final episode of #Vigil. What a series! Even better than the first. Outstanding.’

‘Well the final episode of this series of #Vigil was a helluva ride! Kirsten gave me so much anxiety! So glad my fave ginger Scottish police detective was OK.’

It comes after Suranne told how she is looking forward to working on projects that involve her being behind the camera in future.

While she has many screen acting credits to her name from Coronation Street, to Scott & Bailey and Doctor Foster among others, she is looking forward to giving more attention to her career as a producer going forward.

She and her husband, former magazine editor Laurence Akers, run a production company together called TeamAkers Productions Ltd.

While Suranne stars in TeamAkers Productions’ Maryland for ITV, set for release next year, she is looking forward to taking a step back from the limelight.

‘I love it. I’m hoping to eventually make projects that I’m not in. I can have a couple of tea and chill.

‘It would be good to not do everything. But I’m very excited about our projects next year.’
