Florence Pugh was the latest star to get hit by a tossed object while onstage.

The English actress, 27, was in São Paulo, Brazil for a Comic-Con event promoting Dune: Part Two on a panel on Sunday alongside her costars Timothée Chalamet, Austin Butler and Zendaya.

The Oscar-nominated Little Women star was shocked for a moment as an object hit her face at the event as the cast members and director Denis Villeneuve posed for photos before they made their way off the stage.

Pugh’s costars checked to see if she was alright in the wake of the scary incident.

The incident marked the latest in a disturbing trend of celebrities being pelted with objects from the crowd.

On the panel, Pugh said it felt ‘really, really special being’ in the sequel to the hit movie, and appearing alongside her costars at the large scale event.

‘I had an amazing time coming in and just hanging around with these people, let alone actually getting to work with them,’ Pugh said. ‘Coming in here – the power in this room – is because of that first movie, and we felt that when we went on set every single day.’

On social media, a number of fans of the Black Widow star condemned the dangerous trend.

‘Disgusting,’ one user said. ‘It’s going to get to the point where people do not want to do live events or concerts … if they have to be worried about people throwing stuff at them and getting hurt.’

One fan called the incident ‘totally disrespectful,’ while another asked, ‘Why do people do this?’

One user noted that people ‘had already been warned not to throw anything on stage and they still did it.’

Last week, singer Ari Lennox was upset after a concertgoer launched a bottle in her direction while she was performing Wednesday in Inglewood, California at the Forum.

The Washington, D.C. native, who was the opener for Rod Wave, was beginning to sing her signature track Pressure when the bottle just missed her.

‘B****, don’t f***ing play with me,’ the R&B singer, whose full name is Courtney Shanade Salter, said in a social media video circulating in the wake of the incident. ‘Stop that s***, I’ll f*** you up.’

The Got Me artist faced a specific section of the arena as she continued her statement: ‘Who did it? Who the f*** did it? I don’t play that, I’m a real-ass b****, and I will f*** your s*** all the way the f*** up.’

The microphone Lennox was using was turned off, and Lennox’s security led her off the stage following the brush with danger, Entertainment Weekly reported.

Earlier this month, Taylor Swift told fans at her show at Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires not to throw presents at the stage, citing the safety concerns involved.

‘It really freaks me out when stuff gets thrown on the stage,’ Swift said. ‘Because if it’s on the stage then a dancer can trip on it.

‘I love that you brought presents and that is so nice, but just can you please not throw them on the stage. I love you so much.’

This past June, singer Bebe Rexha was injured after she was struck in the face by a phone a concertgoer launched onstage during her show at New York City’s The Rooftop at Pier 17.

Rexha had to receive stitches following the incident, in which a man named Nicolas Malvagna was arrested on assault allegations.

In another shocking incident that also took place this past June, Pink was performing on London at Hyde Park when an audience member threw a pouch containing her mother’s ashes onstage.

‘This is your mom? I don’t know how to feel about that,’ Pink said, adding that the incident marked ‘a first’ in her decades-long career in the limelight.

In July, Harry Styles – who appeared in the film Don’t Worry Darling alongside Pugh last year – was struck by an object launched onstage as he performed in Vienna, Austria.

Adele addressed the issue this past July at one of her concerts in her residency in Las Vegas at Ceasar’s Palace Hotel & Casino.

‘Have you noticed how people are like, forgetting f***ing show etiquette at the moment?’ the Rolling in the Deep singer said. ‘People just throwing s*** on stage, have you seen them?’

At the time, Adele had a T-shirt cannon in her hand, telling the audience with a smile: ‘I f***ing dare you … dare you to throw something at me and I’ll f***ing kill you.’
