Channel Seven has pulled out the big bucks yet again for The Voice 2025, with its star coaches commanding eye-watering salaries.
Daily Mail can reveal international recruits Richard Marx and Mel C each secured deals ‘north of $1 million’ for their debut season.
‘Richard wasn’t going to uproot himself from the US unless it made sense financially,’ one well-placed insider revealed.
‘He’s a bona fide rock legend – Seven knew they had to pay to play.’
Former Spice Girl Mel C was reportedly on a similar package.
‘She wasn’t flying halfway across the world for less than a million,’ another insider revealed.

‘She brings global star power and that comes with a price tag.’
Returning favourite Kate Miller-Heidke is understood to be earning between $500,000 and $600,000, about half of what her overseas counterparts are earning, but still a lucrative payday.
‘Kate proved herself last season and producers were keen to lock her in again,’ the source explained.
‘She’s seen as the grounded counterbalance to the big international names.’
As for Irish star Ronan Keating, given that comparable international coaches Adam Lambert and LeAnn Rimes were each on between $750,000 and $1.2 million in 2024, insiders suggest his figure would likely fall within a similar range.
‘Ronan is a known face to Aussie audiences and has proven chemistry with the format, so it would be surprising if he wasn’t on a deal close to the million mark,’ a network source hinted.
It comes after Daily Mail revealed that the network didn’t hold back when it came to accommodation over the weekend, with each coach placed in properties that reflected their style and star power.
Marx lived in a sprawling five-bedroom, five-bathroom mansion in Tamarama, worth more than $11 million.

The property, perched above the surf, features uninterrupted ocean views, a resort-style pool, a home theatre and a self-contained guest retreat.
‘It’s like a boutique hotel,’ one source said. ‘Richard came with his wife Daisy and his team, so space was non-negotiable.’
Mel C opted for the Pacific Bondi penthouse, one of the most exclusive addresses in the city.
The glamorous Art Deco-inspired apartment rents for around $54,000 per month and offers sweeping ocean views, oversized entertaining spaces and total privacy.
‘Bondi was a no-brainer for Mel,’ an insider explained.
‘She loves the beach lifestyle and being able to duck out for a swim or coffee in between filming.’
In stark contrast, Miller-Heidke returned to her two-bedroom terrace in Darlinghurst, the same cosy property she stayed in during the 2024 season.
Nestled among leafy streets and trendy cafés, it offered a low-key retreat just minutes from the city.

‘Kate could have gone bigger, but that’s not her,’ the insider said.
‘She wanted somewhere familiar where she could stay grounded.’
‘Seven knows this show is its crown jewel,’ one TV insider said.
‘Big red chairs demand big names – and that means paying up. But when you look at the buzz around Richard, Mel, Ronan and Kate, it’s money well spent.’
