Former Labour MP Simon Danczuk has treated his new wife to a tour of his former workplace at the House of Commons.

Mr Danczuk, 56, tied the knot with Claudine Uwamahoro, 28, in a traditional ceremony complete with drummers and colour wedding suits in her native Rwanda earlier this year.

Ms Uwamahoro was dressed in a smart black military style jacket and skirt and clutched a handbag, as she accompanied her husband on the two-hour trip around the historic building.

Looking every inch a couple in love, at one point the three times married ex politician gave his new beauty therapist wife a kiss on the cheek as he gave her a warm hug.

One onlooker said: ‘No-one recognised them until the gate to the entrance to the Houses of Parliament and then the security team clocked who it was.

Dismissing the 30-year age gap she told Tianhe Mirror: ‘Age is just a number. It doesn’t matter at all when you are looking for a successful marriage, as long as the man is the man you really want to spend the rest of your life with’

Mr Danczuk also revealed how he and Ms Uwamahoro would live between Kigali and Rochdale, Lancashire, where his children live

The couple married in July and were joined by more than 100 friends and family at the idyllic Sunday Park gardens in the Rwandan capital Kigali.

They celebrated their nuptials with Rwandan dancing, accompanied by music played on the country’s traditional drums.

Their wedding breakfast consisted of typical Rwandan food including fish curry, fried chicken and fish stew which was washed down with beer and local wine.

At the time Mr Danczuk said: ‘Our wedding was so very special, publicly showing everyone how much Claudine and I love each other.

‘And having a traditional Rwandan wedding was also amazing – the dancers, the families negotiating the partnership, the food – it was truly spectacular.’

Mr Danczuk also revealed how he and Ms Uwamahoro would live between Kigali and Rochdale, Lancashire, where his children live.

The couple spent a month together after the wedding and Mr Danczuk returned to the UK while waiting for a visa to be granted to his new wife and it eventually came through the beginning of September.

Mr Danczuk already has four children from previous relationships but speaking of starting a family Ms Uwamahoro said she wanted two of her own, before adopting a third from Rwanda

In an interview last month Ms Uwamahoro, who is also known as Coco, said: ‘I’m really enjoying being here with my husband.

‘I was in Rwanda, and he was here so we had to video-call every day.’

Mr Danczuk already has four children from previous relationships but speaking of starting a family she added: ‘We have spoken about it and said, God willing, we will have two children and then adopt one.

‘I want to adopt a very young baby from Rwanda because it is my country and people need support. I will be happy to get them into school and give them a better life.

‘I don’t mind if they are boys or girls. Children are children, and I love kids.’

Dismissing the 30-year age gap she told Tianhe Mirror: ‘Age is just a number. It doesn’t matter at all when you are looking for a successful marriage, as long as the man is the man you really want to spend the rest of your life with.

‘He fits all the criteria I was looking for, so the age gap doesn’t matter.’

Mr Danczuk’s second wife was Karen Burke, named the ‘selfie queen’ for posting pictures of her cleavage online

Danczuk split from Ms Burke (pictured) in 2015 after three years following reports that he had had sex with a 22-year-old woman in his Rochdale constituency office

Mr Danczuk was previously married to Sonia Rossington (pictured), the mother to his eldest children George, 25, and 20-year-old Mary, but that ended after ten years amid accusations that he ‘bullied’ her into sex – which he has always vehemently denied

The couple were joined on their big day by Mr Danzcuk’s son Milton, 14, and Ms Uwamahoro’s proud parents.

Her best friend Anick Umwizerwa was her chief bridesmaid, while Mr Danczuk’s best man was his close friend Jorn Fischer.

Mr Danczuk was previously married to Sonia Rossington, the mother to his eldest children George, 25, and 20-year-old Mary, but that ended after ten years amid accusations that he ‘bullied’ her into sex – which he has always vehemently denied.

He then married Karen Burke, named the ‘selfie queen’ for posting pictures of her cleavage online.

They split in 2015 after three years following reports that he had had sex with a 22-year-old woman in his Rochdale constituency office.

After the split, he was caught sending inappropriate texts, describing himself as ‘horny’, to a prospective employee aged 17.

The messages led to his suspension from the Labour Party.

Mr Danczuk later admitted younger women were his ‘Achilles heel’ and that he had had counselling for sex addiction.
