Madonna celebrated her 67th birthday in style at a luxury Italian villa over the weekend surrounded by her nearest and dearest.

The singer visited the famous Palio di Siena horse race in Tuscany with her children and then enjoyed a VIP dinner and fireworks back at Sting and Trudie Styler’s 16th century Tuscan villa.

The exclusive property named Villa Il Palagio is available for private rental and costs £18,000 for two nights, according to The Sun, and sits in 900-acres of picturesque vineyards.

Proving she is even still keeping up with Gen Z trends, the superstar was also treated to a huge pink Labubu doll cake with one very fitting detail.

The figure featured her iconic conical bra outfit look and said: ‘Happy birthday Madudu’ at the bottom.

For the trip she was joined by her son Rocco, daughter Lourdes Leon and  Malawi-born twin daughters Stella and Estere, 12, who she adopted in 2017, and her boyfriend Akeem Morris.

A source told the publication of the big birthday holiday: ‘Everyone turned out to support Madonna and she had an amazing trip.

‘She loves to celebrate her birthday in Italy and this was one of the best yet.

‘She’s been friends with Sting for years so I’m sure he will have sorted her out mates rates for his huge estate.’

Swedish fashion designer Bea Åkerlund shared snaps of the celebration to her Instagram account as documented the trip.

On the holiday she also enjoyed the Palio di Siena horse race.

The pop veteran watched from a balcony with her children as they took in the atmosphere.

The historic event has taken place in the Tuscan city of Siena twice a year since medieval times, with the first formal race being organised in 1633.

And Madonna, who celebrated her birthday on Saturday, looked engrossed in the spectacle while flanked by her loved ones.

Artist son Rocco, 25, her only child with director Guy Ritchie, was stripped to his vest as he accompanied his mother on her special day.

She confirmed earlier this year that her upcoming album will be a sequel to her hit 2005 album Confessions On A Dance Floor.

Sharing an update to Instagram, she posted a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of her time recording in the studio in London, alongside producer Stuart Price.

Sharing an array of snaps, Madonna was seen in the recording studio, putting on a busty display in a lace cami top while hard at work recording her new tracks.

Madonna could also be seen wearing a t-shirt which said ‘Mother’ as she strolled around the Big Smoke.

Sharing photos from the studio in February, Madonna was seen sitting behind a drum kit, in others she sings into a microphone and in still others she vamps for the camera in the way only Madonna can.

‘My Valentine’s Day gift to all my fans is to let you know I’m putting my heart and soul into my new music and I can’t wait to share it with you!’ she wrote.

The new album will be her first since 2019’s Madame X.

No release date, or even estimate of when the new music would drop was revealed by the seven time Grammy winner.
