Alert – Charlie Sheen talks ‘suffocating shame’ and experimenting with ‘everything’ in revealing new documentary

Charlie Sheen is nearly eight years sober and about to turn the big 6-0, so he’s decided to confront his drug-fueled past with a new book and candid documentary.

‘Nothing’ is off limits in director Andrew Renzi’s new two-part docuseries aka Charlie Sheen, which premieres September 10 on Netflix.

‘When you got a lot of shame about a lot of stuff… Shame is suffocating,’ the former Hollywood bad boy confessed in the trailer.

‘I lit the fuse, you know, and my life turns into everything it wasn’t supposed to be.’

Charlie (born Carlos Estévez) added: ‘The stuff that I plan on sharing, I had made a sacred vow to only reveal to a therapist.’

Sheen got emotional while discussing letting down his famous father, Martin Sheen, with his wayward wildchild antics.

Wiping away tears, the nepo baby cried: ‘I can’t imagine being my dad. I really hurt the people I love.’

In one scene, Charlie embraces his 20-year-old daughter Lola Sheen, a conservative Christian, who told the camera: ‘You can’t really have a relationship with someone going through addiction.’

Incredibly, the doc features Sheen’s former drug dealer Marco, who swore: ‘When Charlie said that he was smoking seven-gram [crack cocaine] rocks, he was smoking seven-gram rocks.’

The self-described ‘tabloid black hole’ was notoriously fired from his lucrative $1.8M/episode gig on CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men following his third attempt at rehab in 12 months.

Charlie’s childhood Malibu pal Sean Penn recalled: ‘He started experimenting with um… everything. Now, Charlie’s sober. He’s going to tell you the truth.’

Sheen also daringly included former Hollywood Madam Heidi Fleiss, who flat out called him a ‘crybaby pu*** bi***’ in the doc: ‘He testified against me and I went to jail.’

The 59-year-old Flightpark owner served 20 months of her seven-year sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, CA after being convicted of federal charges of tax evasion in 1996.

Also included in the doc were Sheen’s second ex-wife Denise Richards, third ex-wife Brooke Mueller, showrunner Chuck Lorre, his Two and a Half Men co-star Jon Cryer, his Money Talks co-star Chris Tucker, and his big brother Ramón Estévez.

Noticeably missing from aka Charlie Sheen were his Emmy-winning 85-year-old father, his eldest brother Emilio Estévez, and his estranged 21-year-old daughter Sami Sheen.

The preview did not mention the Golden Globe winner’s shocking HIV diagnosis in 2012 nor the accusations he raped his Lucas co-star Corey Haim, at age 13, which he previously denied.
