A new report has claimed that Jalen Ramsey’s ‘disruptive’ behavior led to his recent trade away from the Miami Dolphins.
It was confirmed last month that the Dolphins had traded defensive star Ramsey – and tight end Jonnu Smith – to the Pittsburgh Steelers in a huge move.
Ramsey, a three-time All-Pro cornerback, will be rewarded with a $1.5million pay rise as he joins a Steelers side who also persuaded Aaron Rodgers to continue his career.
While fans in Pittsburgh will be delighted with the trade, Dolphins supporters were left confused but a new report has shed light on Ramsey’s shock exit.
According to The Sun-Sentinel, Miami felt as though Ramsey’s ‘disruptive’ behavior had begun to ‘hurt the culture’ of the franchise.
The outlet claims that Ramsey would ‘regularly showing up for practice’ late and that the cornerback would ‘undermine’ the Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel.

Ramsey’s attitude was a large reason for the Dolphins’ decision to trade him – along with Smith – in exchange for Minkah Fitzpatrick and a pick swap.
Ramsey’s arrival continues an impressive offseason for Steelers coach Mike Tomlin.
He persuaded Aaron Rodgers to continue his NFL career and be Pittsburgh’s starting quarterback next season, having also traded for Seattle Seahawks receiver DK Metcalf.
Ramsey’s future had been one of the biggest talking points of the offseason after he and Miami agreed to explore a potential trade back in April.
The 30-year-old did not attend any of Miami’s organized team activities or mandatory minicamp as he tried to find a way out.
Ramsey’s switch to Pittsburgh also comes less than a year after he signed a three-year contract extension with the Dolphins.
Though the Dolphins are likely please that they have got Ramsey off the books, his ex-teammate Tyreek Hill made sure to air his grievances with the decision.

In response to the trade, Hill shared a GIF of Will Smith standing in an empty room and looking around, during an episode of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
The clip is typically used by social media users to demonstrate a feeling of loneliness or an absence of friends.
The only caption to the post was Hill using a ‘Smiling Face with Tear Emoji’, which showed his disappointment in the move.
