An Ohio woman who was found guilty of raping an infant will spend the rest of her life behind bars.
Kristina Jacobson, 39, of Akron, near Cleveland, was convicted of illegal use of a minor or an impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance, rape, and gross sexual imposition at a hearing on June 12.
She will have to register as a Tier III sex offender and will not be given the possibility of parole.
‘Kristina Jacobson abused an innocent child’s vulnerability and inability to defend or advocate for herself,’ Summit County Prosecutor Elliot Kolkovich said in a statement.
‘There is simply no excuse for this abhorrent crime.’
Kristina’s husband, Scott Jacobson, 45, was also sentenced to life in prison without parole for raping two children in November, Kolkovich said.
He was also found guilty of 10 counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor and gross sexual imposition.
Their victims are under the age of 13 and the abuse occurred between December 2011 to December 2015 and April to May 2024.

Kristina often posted photos with small children on her Facebook page, as well as pictures of her running and of her dog.
Her latest photo is a picture of her in what appears to be a public bathroom in May 2024.
Earlier this year, a North Carolina mother was arrested on 80 counts of child rape.
Sara Jean Sellers, of Shallotte, was arrested in February on multiple charges related to sexual crimes against children.
The 44-year-old mother engaged in these alleged acts from 2018-2019, and two boys who were 12-years-old at the time are said to be involved, prosecutors said.
She faces 20 counts each of statutory rape of a child under the age of 15, indecent liberties with a child, and statutory sex offense with a child under 15, according to arrest records reviewed by Daily Mail.
