Katy Perry appeared to make a very telling post on Friday as she shared a glimpse at her ‘life purpose’, following her split from Orlando Bloom.
The US popstar, 40, re-shared a video to her Instagram Stories from a content creator who teaches followers the ‘Laws of the Universe’ to help them ‘heal your life’.
The clip claimed a person’s purpose in life is determined by the phase of the moon on the day of their birth, with Katy indicating her purpose is to start ‘new chapters’.
‘The phase of the moon that was during your date of birth determines your purpose,’ the video explained.
According to Katy’s birthday, 25 October, 1984, she was born on a Waning Crescent.

Orlando, 48, and Katy’s split was confirmed by PEOPLE on Thursday after weeks of speculation.
The couple first got together in 2016 before splitting up and getting back together in 2018.

A source told UsWeekly: ‘Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.’
The source described the alleged split as ‘a long time coming’ and claimed their relations ‘have been tense for months’.
The singer was previously married to British comedian Russell Brand.
