This is the shocking moment a mob of New York City schoolchildren repeatedly punched a school cop – just a week before a Jewish teacher was forced to hide from a group demanding she be fired.

Students from Hillcrest High School in Queens were arrested and charged following the horrific attacks, the New York Police Department confirmed.

They did not reveal how many kids were apprehended, nor what disciplinary action they are facing.

In the latest harrowing clip, at least three students start whacking the uniformed officer over the head, causing him to duck and try to defend himself.

They pin him against the hallway wall while some continue to punch the cop, who raises his arms to protect his head during the vicious attack.

While another officer tries to get the belligerent schoolkids off the cop, a gang of other students stand to the side recording the out-of-control situation.

It’s unclear what triggered the attack in the crowded student area. Hillcrest High School was slammed for allegedly trying to ‘cover up crimes committed by students,’ as local politicians called for the institution to be shut down.

Vickie Paladino, a NYC Council Member representing District 19 of Queens, published the video and wrote:  ‘An anonymous source within the DOE shared video with my office of students at Hillcrest High School brutally attacking a uniformed school safety officer.

‘This event apparently happened a week before the riot. The school administration tried to cover this up in the same way they tried to cover up the riot.

‘It’s clear that the administration of Hillcrest is totally compromised and either unwilling or unable to do what’s necessary to provide a safe environment to their students or their faculty.

‘Furthermore, they seem more than willing to cover up crimes committed by their students in service of a political narrative, and to prevent these criminal students from facing consequences.

‘Were it not brought to the attention of my office, this may have remained covered up. And who knows what else they’re hiding at this point. This cannot continue.

‘Hillcrest High School must be shut down pending a full and thorough investigation, and the administration must be held accountable. Furthermore, the students who committed these acts must be arrested immediately and face appropriate criminal charges.

‘This cannot continue in our schools. Order and discipline must be restored. We’ve tried ‘progressive’ educational theory for far too long, and it’s gotten us absolutely nowhere. Our students and our city deserve far better than this.’

The NYPD said in response to the latest video released concerning the violence at the high school: ‘The NYPD is aware of this incident. Violence in our schools will not be tolerated.

‘The individuals responsible for assaulting the NYPD Schools agents were taken into custody & charged according to NYPD procedures.’

Officer Kevin L. Taylor, the Inspector at School Safety Division for the NYPD, wrote: ‘In regard to Hillcrest HS, I have increased security measures to ensure the continued safety of all students and staff. We will be working closely with DOE to prevent future incidents.

‘Violence will not be tolerated in schools.’

The attack on the cop came a week before a Jewish teacher was forced to hide in her classroom while students demanded she be fired for attending a pro-Israel rally.

In the video students can be seen waving Palestine flags and jumping around hallways inside the school.

Another clip showed students running wild throughout the corridors of the school during the ordeal.

Students inside Hillcrest High School in the New York City borough rioted inside the school for two hours last Monday.

The incident came about after images surfaced of a Jewish teacher at the school attending a pro-Israel rally.

In a statement to the the New York Post, the teacher, who wished not to be identified revealed that she had been working as an educator for 23 years in the New York City public school system.

For the last seven years, her time has been spent working at Hillcrest High School.

‘I have worked hard to be supportive of our entire student body and an advocate for our community,’ she said.

‘[I] was shaken to my core by the calls to violence against me that occurred online and outside my classroom last week.

‘No one should ever feel unsafe at school — students and teachers alike. It’s my hope in the days ahead we can find a way to have meaningful discussions about challenging topics with respect for each other’s diverse perspectives and shared humanity.

‘Unless we can learn to see each other as people we will never be able to create a safe learning community.’

A senior student speaking to the outlet said that it was the teacher’s support for Israel that ignited the aggression seen at the Queens high school.

‘The teacher was seen holding a sign of Israel, like supporting it,’ they said.

‘A bunch of kids decided to make a group chat, expose her, talk about it, and then talk about starting a riot.’

The riot at Hillcrest high school was well-documented online with the chaos captured in a series of photos and videos.

They showed large crowds of students congregating inside the hallways of the schools, chanting and running wild.

In one video that has been shared on TikTok and X (formerly Twitter) students can be seen waving Palestine flags while jumping up and down in the corridors.

Other images show the destruction of bathrooms as others attempted to barge into the terrified teacher’s classroom as she hid from the rioting mob.

According to New York City Councilman James Gennaro, the NYPD sent officers to the school and brought in their counterterrorism bureau to investigate.

‘The counterterrorism task force is not engaged unless they believe it is potentially a serious situation,’ Gennaro said.

NYPD officers escorted the teacher safely out of the building, but senior students revealed to the post that they know her phone number and home address.

Critics have blasted the group of students with one person saying they’re ’embarrassed to be part of this generation.’
