Bruce Springsteen and President Donald Trump’s feud hit a new high on Wednesday after the commander-in-chief clapped back with a fake video targeting the rock icon — following Springsteen’s stinging insult on stage.
The clash reignited last week when Springsteen, 75, slammed Trump during his concert in Manchester, England, calling him an ‘unfit president’ and slamming his administration as ‘corrupt, incompetent and treasonous.’
Trump, 78, fired back with a scorched-earth Truth Social post, calling the musician ‘a dried out prune of a rocker’ and ‘a pushy, obnoxious JERK.’
But The Boss didn’t back down, doubling down at another show in Manchester on Saturday where he told fans, ‘In my home, they’re persecuting people for their right to free speech and voicing their dissent.’
Now, Trump has escalated the feud further — posting a doctored video on Truth Social that shows him teeing off on a golf course before cutting to Springsteen falling backward on stage.

As fans know, Springsteen has long backed Democratic candidates and threw his support behind former Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 election cycle — a move that clearly didn’t sit well with Trump.

In a 2 a.m. Truth Social post on Monday, the president accused Springsteen and other stars like Beyoncé and Oprah of accepting ‘illegal campaign contributions’ in exchange for appearing at Harris’ campaign events.
‘How much did Kamala Harris pay Bruce Springsteen for his poor performance during her campaign for president?’ Trump wrote in all caps.
‘Why did he accept that money if he is such a fan of hers? Isn’t that a major and illegal campaign contribution? What about Beyoncé? … And how much went to Oprah, and Bono???’
Trump insisted he would push for a ‘major investigation’ into the spending, though he offered no proof for his claims.
Just days after Springsteen slammed Trump on stage, the American Federation of Musicians threw its support behind the rocker — and fellow Trump critic Taylor Swift — accusing the president of targeting them both.

Trump hasn’t held back when it comes to Swift, either.
In a previous jab, he wrote: ‘Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,” she’s no longer “HOT”?’
Now, the labor union is speaking out.
‘The American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada will not remain silent as two of our members − Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift − are singled out and personally attacked by the President of the United States,’ the union said in a statement.
‘Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift are not just brilliant musicians — they are role models and inspirations to millions of people in the United States and across the world. Musicians have the right to freedom of expression, and we stand in solidarity with all our members.’
