A woman has been struck with a machete after being confronted by three men in a violent attempted carjacking in Melbourne.
The woman, 29, was refuelling at a service station on the Princes Highway at Dandenong when a white Ford SUV pulled up behind her.
As she returned to her car, three men approached and tried to steal her keys.
She resisted, before one of them struck her in the arm with a machete, before they fled the scene.
She was taken hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
This is a breaking story. More to come.
