A golden figure of famed creator Walt Disney at California’s Disneyland appears to have been modified after it gained notice for somewhat resembling Donald Trump.
The park in Anaheim is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2025 and was doing so in part by debuting a new sculpture in the main esplanade made to look like the Sleeping Beauty Castle.
The sculpture is dotted with golden silhouettes of various parts of the park as well as a replica of the famous Walt Disney statue.
The ‘Partners’ statue shows Disney holding hands with his most famous creation, Mickey Mouse, in greeting visitors.
However, social media users who visited the park noticed that the design of Disney made him resemble President Trump.
The figure shows Disney as having a swoop at the front of his hair that somewhat looks like Trump when in silhouette.
The Instagram account @DisneyScoopGuy posted a video showing that the park had removed the figure within a day of buzz being created over its infamous resemblance.
The video showed walls all around the new figure making it impossible to access, though it was clear the alleged Trump-lookalike of Disney had been removed.

He also noted that there’s an additional mistake in the figure, in that it shows Disney pointing with just one figure, rather than the two in the original statue.
Some suggested Disney may have been wearing a hat in the replica, while others assumed it was a hairpiece.
‘It appears that Disneyland has been paying attention to what people have been saying on social media, because overnight they removed one of the spire toppers,’ he said.
Soon after, @DisneyScoopGuy posted a new video showing the walls having been removed.
In addition, Disney’s figure had been returned to its former glory with a slightly flatter hairstyle.
‘The Disneyland 70th anniversary esplanade photo op looks incredible! And they fixed Walt Disney!,’ he wrote.
While the hair is fixed, it’s not immediately visible if Disney’s fingers have been altered.
DailyMail.com has reached out to Disneyland for comment. The park’s 70th anniversary celebrations began on Friday.

Disney is already under scrutiny by the Trump administration.
In March the head of the Federal Communications Commission said that he was opening an investigation into Disney and its ABC television network to determine if they are ‘promoting invidious forms of DEI discrimination.’
After years of struggles, Disney posted solid profits and revenue in the second quarter as its domestic theme parks thrived and the company added well over a million subscribers to its streaming service.
The company also boosted its profit expectations for the year, sending shares up 11% Wednesday.
Disney also announced that it will build a seventh theme park in Abu Dhabi.

For the three months ended March 30, Disney earned $3.28 billion, or $1.81 per share. The Burbank, California, company lost $20 million, or a penny per share, a year earlier.
Removing one time charges or benefits, earnings were $1.45 per share, easily topping the $1.18 that Wall Street was expecting, according to a survey by Zacks Investment Research.
Revenue rose 7 percent to $23.62 billion, also topping projections.
Revenue for Disney Entertainment, which includes the company’s movie studios and streaming service, climbed 9 percent, while revenue for the Experiences division, its parks, increased 6 percent.
