Elizabeth Hurley provided a major update on her relationship with new boyfriend Billy Ray Cyrus weeks after they went public with their romance on social media.
The English actress, 59, spoke to DailyMail.com exclusively about her life with Billy Ray, 63, while attending the Breast Cancer Research Foundation 2025 Hot Pink Party in New York City on Tuesday.
When asked how things have been going with the hunky singer, Elizabeth confirmed that she is ‘very happy in my new relationship.
‘Billy’s a lovely man and we make each other very happy,’ she gushed.
The bold declaration on the red carpet proves the relationship is going strong despite rumored concerns that the Hollywood couple weren’t the ‘real deal.’
Joined by her model son Damian Hurley, 23, at the charity event, Elizabeth kept quiet when asked if she’s had the chance to ‘spend time’ with any of Billy Ray’s six children — one of which is superstar Miley Cyrus.

‘Well, I’ve been raising funds and awareness of breast cancer for 30 years now, and I did initially start because of my grandmother, and I have to say I think about her at every single event I go to whenever I hear about a new treatment, a new breakthrough in research, I just always think, ‘Ah, you know, if only.”
‘But I know she’d be so proud of everything we’ve done and you know, I hope she’s aware of it somehow,’ Elizabeth shared.

Their unexpected romance comes just over two years after the pair fatefully met on the set of their 2022 holiday movie Christmas in Paradise, which was shot in the Caribbean.
Last month, Billy Ray broke his silence over the new relationship while appearing on Apple Music Country’s The Ty Bentli Show.
The Achy Breaky Heart crooner, who finalized his divorce from ex Firerose in August 2024, revealed Elizabeth reached out during a difficult period in his life.
‘I felt like, ”Wow, can life get any harder? Can it get any tougher?” For me, at a certain point it was like, you can’t get knocked down any flatter than laying on your back when life is kicking you,’ he said.
‘And in this moment… a friend reached out.’

He shared: ‘So, I text back, I go, ”Who is this?” And it’s like, ”Elizabeth Hurley.” Of all the people to reach out to me in that second that maybe I needed most… this friend who made me laugh.’
Although they hadn’t spoken in ‘two years’ after wrapping their holiday film, Billy instantly remembered ‘there was a chemistry’ between them on set during their ‘very few scenes together’.
‘We just laughed, and it was at a time I wasn’t laughing a lot,’ he noted.
‘The oddest part was first, how much we laughed. Second, I figured we were so different but in some very strange way we had way more in common than we had different.’
Christmas in Paradise was shot in the Caribbean, and was filmed not long after he separated from ex-wife Tish in April 2022 after 28 years of marriage.
He went on to have a short-lived relationship with Firerose but he filed for divorce in May 2024 after seven months of marriage.
A source recently revealed Elizabeth ‘spent a beautiful couple of weeks in Tennessee with Billy Ray’ and that they would be getting back together soon after she jetted off.
‘She loved being surrounded by nature in a more laid-back environment. She had a great time with Billy Ray,’ the insider told PEOPLE.
