Megyn Kelly offered a devastating analysis of former New England Patriots Coach Bill Belichick’s relationship with his girlfriend, Jordan Hudson, following what she called a ‘cringey’ interview.
Belichick, who now coaches for the University of North Carolina’s football team, was asked in a now viral interview with CBS Sunday Morning how he met his 24-year-old girlfriend when she interrupted.
‘We’re not talking about this,’ said the former cheerleader, who was described as ‘a constant presence during the interview’ while sitting nearby off-camera.
She later reportedly stormed out of the interview – delaying shooting for around 30 minutes.
Many online have since expressed their concerns about the 73-year-old coach’s fling with Hudson, and on Monday’s episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, the eponymous host criticized the couple’s nearly 50 year age difference and likened Hudson to former First Lady Jill Biden.
‘Oh my God, she shows up to these black tie events with him wearing nothing. She’s basically wearing a bikini and he’s wearing a normal man’s clothing. And it looks weird,’ Kelly unleashed.
‘OK whatever, who am I to judge? But I’m judging, I won’t lie, it’s weird and I’m pretty sure she is with him because he’s very famous and probably has a lot of money and gets her access to cool things – that’s my guess.’

Belichick, the 73-year-old former New England Patriots coach, has a nearly 50 year age gap with his girlfriend, Hudson, who is 24
Kelly then turned her focus to the interview, which she said made it ‘look much more like a Jill Biden situation.
‘It’s all I could think of,’ she continued. ‘It’s like she’s Dr. Jill on the sidelines, calling all the shots and trying to decide what he can answer and what he can’t in this interview.’
The former Fox News host then claimed it was ‘far worse’ than it appeared, as CBS News Sunday Morning announced that Hudson had interrupted the interview several other times.
‘The reason they reportedly chose to air this one interruption of hers is because it was far worse than this, she was trying to dominate behind the scenes and they felt it was OK to include one of her interruptions just… to be transparent that they had this monster on screen left who was completely trying to control him,’ she said as she praised the network’s ‘journalistic integrity.’
After then discussing Belichick’s Instagram presence, Kelly suggested his relationship with Hudson is ‘concerning.’
‘If the situation were reversed and we had a 74-year-old female and a 24-year-old male in the background… we’d be accusing him of elder abuse and asking whether this woman was OK.
‘Honestly, I’ve got those questions here,’ she said.
Kelly is not the only one who has expressed concern over the Lombardi-winning coach’s relationship, however.

She then interrupted the sit-down and declared, ‘We’re not talking about this’
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy previously blasted the interview as ‘awkward’ and said he was left ‘squirming’ in his seat.
Piers Morgan then replied that it was ‘utterly excruciating.’
Former ESPN sports journalist Jemele Hill also remarked on X that ‘a 24 year old seems to have ore influence over Bill Belichick than Tom Brady,’ referring to the quarterback that led the Patriots to six Super Bowl championships.
Similarly, ESPN radio host Peter Burns claimed ‘Belichick might be held against his will.’
But on Tuesday, Hudson hit back at the critics by reposting a number of users defending her and Belichick’s antics during the interview on X, a platform she has not used for over three months.
In one post, a user said there was ‘nothing awkward about’ the interview.
‘Imagine a private person wanting to keep their private life private. Shocking,’ the post read.

On her show Monday, Kelly compared their relationship to that of former President Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden
Another argument reposted by Hudson reads: ‘I see a woman who cares about her man and doesn’t want him to be screwed around by the media.’
‘Bill looks like he wants to reach across and strangle the life out of the interviewer. I kinda wish he did,’ said a third.
Later on Tuesday, Hudson also posted a cryptic statement on behalf of her boyfriend, sharing a screenshot he reportedly wrote to members of his camp.
In it, he appeared to hit out at ‘negative’ media attention around his upcoming book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football.
Yet the fallout from the shocking interview continued, with the New York Post reporting that his friends are ‘shaking their heads’ at the romance and have contacted him about it.
‘They are talking to him about her, but very gently because they know how deep in he is,’ the Post quotes an insider as saying. ‘She saw an opening and she took it.
‘This guy is known as being such a strong voice and in many ways autocratic — and here he is becoming mush in her hands and letting her direct everything. She is so much younger, so inexperienced and so lacking in perspective and professionalism.
‘This CBS interview really exposed how bad things are and how much control that she’s been able to get. The optics were brutal.’
