KFC reached out to Travis Kelce with a hilarious message after the Kansas City Chiefs star revealed he will be alone on Thanksgiving due to Taylor Swift’s tour commitments.

His girlfriend is playing in Sao Paolo this weekend, after three dates in Rio de Janeiro last week, meaning Kelce is without for this Thanksgiving – their first since they started dating.

He revealed on his New Heights podcast, which he hosts with his brother Jason, that he is spending the day by himself.

When they were talking about the Thanksgiving NFL games, Kelce said: ‘Good luck to them. I’ll be feasting on KFC because I won’t have anybody here.’

And the comment didn’t go unnoticed by the fast food chain itself, who responded to him on Twitter.

‘@tkelce, you belong with us,’ they wrote, the comment hat-tip to one of Swift’s most famous songs.

Travis was given a last-minute invite to his brother’s house in Philadelphia when he discovered he was going to be by himself.

‘If you want to make a quick trip, you’re welcome at the house, man,’ he said. ‘We’ll have plenty of food.’

It will be difficult for Travis to make the journey to his brother, though, given that he and the Chiefs have to prepare to play the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

It will be Kelce’s chance to respond and get his team back to winning ways after Monday’s loss to brother Jason’s Philadelphia Eagles.

The Chiefs, last season’s Super Bowl winners, are 7-3 for the season.
