Monica Garcia of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fame has become a mother for the fifth time.
On Thursday, the 41-year-old Bravo alum announced the birth of her first child with boyfriend Braxton Knight.
Monica, who suffered a miscarriage last year, wrote in a video shared on Instagram, ‘Getting pregnant at 40 was never the plan, but just like the last couple years of my life, nothing has gone to plan.’
She added, ‘Dear God & body… thank you. Thank you for holding this baby safely through 9 months and a delivery. So very grateful. I will miss this so much. Every hiccup and every kick felt.’
It comes six weeks after Garcia announced she and her beau, who is ten years her junior, were expecting.
In the social media reel Monica showed her time in the hospital, including outtakes of the newborn.

She did not share the sex of the child, but pink balloons featured in the recording indicate she and her boyfriend welcomed a girl.

Monica’s pregnancy announcement came almost a full year after she suffered a miscarriage.
The star told People in March how she shared the baby news with Knight during a Disneyland trip: ‘My best friend, Koa, helped me pull it all off. Koa had picked out the infant ears hat at the Mad Hatter and had ‘Aries Baby’ embroidered on them while I distracted Braxton with churros and getting my cotton candy. I told him while we were on Peter Pan, flying over NeverLand.’
She also said to the publication: ‘I have been so blessed and been silent about all of it.
‘I just hope someone reads this and it resonates with them on some level, reminds them that no matter what people do to you, say about you, or try to take from you, they can never take what God has for you.’
Knight was reportedly dating another woman when he met Garcia in April 2023 while she was filming the fourth season of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

The Bravo-lebrity has sole legal and physical custody of her four daughters — Bri, 19, Jaidyn, 14, West, eight, and Kendall, seven — from her on/off decade-long marriage with Mike Fowler, 46.
The tumultuous union came to an end in 2023 amid domestic violence allegations.
According to police documents obtained by the The Sun in January 2024, Fowler was taken into custody in March 2021 for domestic violence assault, domestic violence in the presence of a child, and interruption of a communication device.
At the time of the incident, Monica had called police to their home and said her then-husband ‘hit her’ and that she was ‘hiding in a bedroom.’
The police report stated that as she spoke to law enforcement via her Apple watch, a female was heard ‘yelling for him to get away from her.’
Then, in person, she told officers she was ‘afraid of Michael and what he would do if she disobeyed him.’
