Jennifer Lopez is known for her age-defying physique and making fitness a number one priority.
But on Tuesday, the Hustlers star got vulnerable with Instagram followers as she shared a reflective post about all she is currently grateful for.
She shared a shot of her killer physique and gushed that, at age 55, she is proud of her hard-working body.
‘Gratitude check-in,’ the caption began. ‘1. My body — working hard but still better than ever 2. The people who keep my heart full 3. The little moments that become the best memories.’
The singer-dancer-actress then asked fans, ‘What are you grateful for today?’
Jennifer previously struggled to appreciate her appearance in her 20s.

Jennifer Lopez has made a rare comment about her body at age 55 as she displayed her killer figure in a reflective post
‘I never appreciated my body or my looks when I was in my 20s,’ she told W Magazine in 2018.
That attitude has now changed: ‘Now I’m like, Look at me! Look at you!’ she said.
‘Not in a conceited or arrogant way—I just appreciate myself in a way I didn’t when I was that age. And it’s not about perfection. I like the scars that I have.’
She’s also learned to positively reframe the bruises she has incurred from performing on stage and sees them as badges of honor from her high-energy shows.
‘My knees are so bruised all the time, from my shows. I think, I am going to have all this scar tissue. But then I’ll be like, “This is from all the shows I did—when I used to slide across the stage and everybody went “Aaaah!”‘
‘When I rocked s–t,’ she added. ‘That’s what this is from.’
Jennifer also initially faced resistance over her famous curves and was told to lose weight early in her career.
‘They kept telling me to lose weight, and I was a dancer and I was athletic and even my manager at the time who I no longer work with um was telling me, “You need to lose weight. You need to be thinner,”‘ she recalled at an FYC event in 2016, according to E!.

Lopez got introspective with fans on Tuesday

Jennifer previously struggled to appreciate her appearance in her 20s
‘I was like, “No I don’t. If I lose any more weight it won’t be me.” You know what I mean?
JLo said it was an uphill battle staying true to herself.
‘It was a fight. It was definitely a fight, and so it’s good to hear that it helped anybody in some way because at the end of the day I was just trying to be myself without trying to fit into a mold of what everybody else should be.’
Devoted JLo fans know the multi-hyphenate continues to prioritize exercise.
‘It’s no secret that fitness is a very important part of my life,’ she told Us Weekly in 2023.
‘I think there’s a positive correlation between exercise and mental health. When you find a good balance through determination and focus, we’re naturally pushing to be the best version of ourselves
She revealed she likes to workout ‘first thing in the morning’, regardless of how jam-packed her schedule is that day.
‘I’m always evolving and looking for things that keep me excited and motivated,’ she said, adding she embraces ‘challenge’ and ‘pushing’ herself.
