Kim Kardashian showed her custom Shohei Ohtani-Takashi Murakami LA Dodgers jersey on an Instagram story on Wednesday, March 19.
Following the MLB Tokyo Series, which featured her hometown Dodgers, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star posted a picture of the shirt on social media.
The shirt features the Dodgers’ home colors with custom cherry blossoms printed around the logo. It also had the special Tokyo Series patch on the right sleeve.
MLB’s X page reposted the snap of Kardashian’s Instagram story, in which she tagged Fanatics, Complete, and Murakami, who designed the jerseys for both teams in the series.
In a post giving a closer look at the pieces, the artist showed that the Dodgers jersey also featured pink flowers and petals on the back of the shirt.
Meanwhile, the opposing Chicago Cubs had a smiling sunflower with red and blue petals next to their crest. In the back, the Cubs shirt featured multicolored flowers and a yellow one facing away.

The reigning World Series champions swept the Cubs in the Land of the Rising Sun, giving Los Angeles a 2-0 head start for the MLB season. LA won the first game in Japan 4-1 and the second 603.
Ohtani put on a show for fans in his native Japan, going 3-for-8 with two extra-base hits in the Tokyo Series.
The Japanese sensation also scored a home run in an exhibition against the Yomiuri Giants on Saturday in his first appearance in his homeland in Dodgers colors.
Ohtani joined the Dodgers last offseason after signing a record-breaking 10-year deal worth $700million. The deal became the largest contract in sports history before Juan Soto’s 15-year, $765m contract with the New York Mets after the World Series.
In this first season with Los Angeles, the three-time MVP established career highs across the board by batting .310 with 54 homers, 130 RBIs, 134 runs scored, 197 hits, and 59 steals.
