Fans have been left shocked after former X-Factor contestant Casey Johnson was seen with eyes glued to his phone while driving a car, with his pregnant wife Marnie Simpson in the vehicle.
Casey, 29, who was part of the band Stereo Kicks and also enjoyed a stint as part of Union J, married Geordie Shore’s Marnie, 33, back in 2023.
The couple first became an item in June 2017 after they appeared on the reality show, Single AF together and have since had two sons, Rox, five, and Oax, two, with Marnie pregnant with their third child – a little girl.
However, a recent video posted to Marnie’s Instagram story shows Casey at the wheel while looking down at his phone in his lap, seemingly looking at an app.
In the UK, it’s illegal to hold and use a mobile phone while driving, even if stopped in traffic, with exceptions for emergencies or contactless payments at drive-thrus.
You can get six penalty points on your licence and a £200 fine if you use a hand-held phone when driving.

The reality star didn’t seem to have an issue with her husband’s actions as the duo were laughing and singing along to music together in the Mercedes G-Wagon.
But, some of the couple’s followers have seemingly taken issue with the clip, with one of them branding it ‘extremely disappointing and reportedly telling The Sun: ‘He thinks he is above the law.
‘I mean, how can you get away with that? You’re on your phone, on social media, while driving… It’s really terrible.”
‘I was just scrolling through stories and she popped up. He’s not a responsible person. It’s shameful. He needs to focus on the road.’

The former Geordie Shore star recently announced she’s expecting her third child with husband Casey in a heartfelt Instagram post.

She penned in the caption: ‘GENDER REVEAL … #baby #gender #reveal #blessed.’, while Casey wrote in the caption: ‘My little princess is coming’, followed by some pink heart emojis.

Trigonitis is a condition where the triangular piece of tissue located in the lower part of the bladder becomes inflamed.
Speaking about her engagement, Marnie told : ‘It was a really emotional moment because I think there were times this last year that I just couldn’t even believe Casey was staying with me.

‘For him to ask me to marry him at that point I thought ‘what? You’re asking me to marry you when I’m this ill?’ It completely shocked me. He said he loved me unconditionally and it was just a real special moment.’
