Dave Portnoy took his own shot at Donald Trump’s Congressional address on Tuesday, but saved his real vitriol for Democratic critics of the President on Wednesday.

Asked by Fox News’ Will Cain about the protests and frequent interruptions from the President’s political opponents, the Barstool Sports founder and Trump supporter blasted Democrats for what he saw as childish stunts.

‘…There’s a lot of people complaining for [Trump] trying to do exactly what he said he was elected to do,’ the 47-year-old Portnoy said. ‘And then you see something like last night, and it feels like a kindergarten skit.’

New Mexico Democrat Melanie Stansbury was seen holding a sign reading ‘This is not normal,’ while other representatives had similar slogans like ‘Save Medicaid’ and ‘Protect Veterans.’

Elon Musk, the President’s billionaire donor now leading the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) as a ‘special government employee,’ was also a popular target for Democrats on Tuesday.

Most notably, Texas Democrat Al Green was ejected after yelling and waving his cane at Trump during the speech.

All of this, from the criticism to the theatrics, were uncalled for, as far as Portnoy is concerned.

‘And I’m not sure that’s too dissimilar from a lot of State of the Unions, where there’s theatrics and stuff,’ he said. ‘But it’s surreal. Like, it’s why I tuned in, to be totally honest.

‘It’s like you’re watching reality TV,’ he continued. ‘But it’s also a little sickening that these are elected officials and it’s so divided and the little placards with the faults and all the different things going on, the guy with the cane getting the boot. It’s hard to believe.

‘Like, if you were an alien and you landed on Earth and you were like, hey, these are the elected people of — the elected officials, the humans, the aliens would invade us in three seconds looking at this clown show that we got going on.’

Portnoy couldn’t help but nitpick one particular line from the President’s address.

When Trump declared ‘the days of rule by unelected bureaucrats are over,’ Portnoy was quick to reference Musk.

‘Gotta admit this one didn’t quite land since Elon is basically Co-President,’ Portnoy remarked on X.

Musk may only be listed as a ‘special government employee,’ but he’s already wielding remarkable cost-cutting power through the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency.

Portnoy similarly criticized Trump over Musk’s role last week in a post questioning everything from DOGE to Trump’s decisions to bring accused sex traffickers Andrew and Tristan Tate back from Romania.

Last week, Portnoy questioned Trump on everything from his failure to release a full report on deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein to the President’s decision to return accused sex traffickers Andrew Tate and brother Tristan from Romania.

‘What’s the point of booting out illegals and criminals while somehow becoming a safe haven for the Tate brothers?’ Portnoy asked.

The two were allowed to leave Romania last week following an alleged intervention by Trump’s administration. However, the President said Thursday he didn’t know anything about their release.

The brothers, who are joint US and UK nationals but lived near Bucharest, were arrested in 2022 on charges of human trafficking, sexual misconduct, money laundering and forming an organized crime group. They have denied any wrongdoing.

According to the brothers’ lawyer, the ‘primary’ reason they feel safe to return to the United States is that ‘Donald Trump is the president’.
