Fans of Canadian rapper Drake have been left fuming after a lengthy delay saw them standing in a queue outside the Brisbane Entertainment Centre for hours.

Several fans attending the concert on Monday night at the Queensland venue complained of being stuck in queues of thousands.

Posts made to social media showed massive crowds backed up outside, unable to enter.

One Facebook post, made at around 8pm, said ‘thousands’ of fans were still waiting to access the venue and had been lined up for ‘two hours’.

Doors were set to open at 5.30pm, however crowds began trickling into the venue 90 minutes later at 7pm, with some still trapped outside at 8pm.

‘Drake concert brissy situation! Gates were meant to open 5:30pm its now 7:16pm lollllll’ wrote one person posting to TikTok alongside a video of a massive, restless group outside the venue.

Another person wrote on social media: ‘Drake let us in, we’re dying out here.’

Concert goers complained that they did not have access to toilets or food while waiting.

‘Help I need to pee’ posted one person on Facebook, while others expressed confusion over whether there were toilets outside or not.

Some fans located on-site bathrooms but one reveller said, ‘there’s hundreds in line, it’s a joke’.

Others claimed that even at 8.30pm ‘no one’ in their part of the line had yet made it inside the venue.

‘No one at our gate has gone in’ wrote one fan as it approached 9pm.

Some fans were reportedly told that Drake was performing a sound check and that they could not be let in while that was in progress – however no official statement has been made.

Daily Mail has contacted the Brisbane Entertainment Centre for comment.

Meanwhile, a famous OnlyFans model known as Blue Eyed Kayla Jade had earlier that evening hinted in a TikTok video that she was set to have dinner and drinks with Drake and a group of friends before his Brisbane gig.

Aussie concert-goers slammed as greedy after 'dystopian' picture from Drake's Sydney show goes viral

The rowdy influencers shared a glimpse at their outfits for the evening in an Instagram post prior to the dinner but did not disclose any details.

Drake rounded out the Sydney leg of his run on Thursday before heading to Brisbane for three shows.

He will then return to Sydney on March 7 for the final show at Qudos Bank Arena.

The Canadian rapper, who has also ticked of four shows in Melbourne, is currently on his n tour.

He made headlines last week after footage went viral of a drone hovering over the balcony of his luxurious penthouse at Crown Sydney.

Drake was attempting to enjoy some downtime when he received an unwelcome visitor.

Instagram account RapMusic shared a clip that showed the point-of-view of what appeared to be a drone.

The video shows Drake as he reaches for a bright orange slide and hurls the casual footwear at his airborne voyeur.

Unfortunately, Drake’s aim was off, and his slide failed to hit the drone, however the warning shot appeared to have the desired effect.

The drone then flew up from the balcony and up into a summery Sydney sky.

However, eagle-eyed fans were quick to speculate whether the video was staged, pointing out the drone pilot in the reflection of the glass door.

The post was met with a flurry of comments from followers, with some suggesting the clip was a promo for online crypto casino Stake, with whom Drake is partnered.

‘It’s obviously promo for the betting company bro. The acting is doodoo,’ one follower pointed out, to which another replied: ‘lmao the computer screen is on stakes website too.’

‘This is a staged video af to promote Stake.. you can clearly see drone pilot sitting behind the corner. Drake deserves an Oscar for overacting.’

Another person joked: ‘I just know he let out a soft anime grunt when he threw it.’
