Police have released a CCTV image in search of the attacker who raped a 14-year-old girl in a train station toilet.
The British Transport Police have been searching for the young girl’s rapist for a year and continue to plea for information that could bring her closer to justice.
They re-released the image of a man who could assist with enquiries after the young girl was raped in the toilets at Harlow Town train station, Essex.
The attack took place in the early hours of Sunday 18 February 2024 between 2.30am and 4.40am where the 14-year-old was sexually assaulted and raped.
Police bosses wish to speak to the man in the footage as they believe he may be able to help with their investigation.
The man was captured on CCTV at the station on his own wearing a black hoodie, white trainers and ripped denim blue jeans.
The statement from BTP said: ‘Do you recognise this man?
‘A year on from the day of the incident, detectives investigating a rape and sexual assault at Harlow Town railway station continue to appeal for information regarding a man they believe could assist with their enquiries.
‘In the early hours of Sunday 18 February between 2.30am and 4.40am a 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted and subsequently raped in the toilets at the station.
‘Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation.
