Ugly Betty actor Eric Mabius was arrested for battery in Florida on Thursday morning.
Mabius, 53, was booked into the Nassau County Jail and Detention Center just before 6am and faces two misdemeanor charges, battery and resisting an officer without violence per TMZ.
A shock mugshot showed the star looking dazed with what appeared to be a cut by his right eye.
DailyMail.com has contacted a representative for Mabius for comment.
Mabius is best known for his role as Mode fashion editor Daniel Meade on Ugly Betty alongside America Ferrera. The show ran from 2006-2010.
He has also appeared on The L Word as Tim Haspel and in films Resident Evil, Cruel Intentions and the Crow: Salvation.
