A Missouri doctor was found dead in her fiancé’s home – three years after another woman died in the same residence.

Dr. Sarah Sweeney, 39, was found dead in the home of her fiancé, local fire captain Robert Daus, in suburban St. Louis on Saturday, reported Fox News.

Frontenac Police said there was no obvious signs of a struggle and have classified it as a sudden death pending a medial examiners evolution.

In 2021, 35-year-old Grace Holland died from a single gunshot wound to the head in the same house of her then-fiancé, also Daus.

Police ruled Holland’s death a suicide but her family believes the investigation was tainted because of Daus’ status with the fire department, reported First Alert 4.

Born in West Virginia, Sweeney moved to Missouri to open up her own podiatry practice in Creve Coeur.

‘Sarah was a vibrant and outgoing person who never, ever met a stranger. She loved dogs and cats, and she rescued and owned several over the years,’ said her obituary.

‘Sarah was diagnosed with Perthes Disease when she was 6 years old, which caused her to experience much physical pain throughout her life.’
