Taylor Swift reportedly feels ‘a tremendous sense of peace’ when she is around her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
After recently celebrating their one-year anniversary, the pop star, 34, is said to view the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, as her ‘protector’ after conquering the past year together.
‘Just his physical presence. She feels safer with him than anyone she’s ever known; she knows he would do anything for her and physically she feels protected by him, and she loves that feeling. It’s a relatively new one for her, relationship-wise,’ a source told Page Six.
The insider continued: ‘Something people don’t really understand — and that’s by design — is how much courage Taylor has.’
Although both the Grammy Award winner has experienced several career highs amid her and the football player’s whirlwind romance, she’s been able to lean on Kelce during the lows, including when her Eras Tour shows in Vienna were revealed to be the target of a foiled terrorist attack in August.

‘Travis is her protector in every sense of the word. He is going to make sure she is physically safe, and emotionally safe — he is not going to do anything careless or reckless with her,’ the insider noted.
Another industry source told the outlet that they are ‘obsessed about a potential wedding’ for the couple, who they described as ‘unbeatable together.’
Due to safety concerns, another insider divulged that it is unlikely fans will see Swift at any of Kelce’s away games this season.
‘She’s not going anywhere unless she knows the venue intimately and it has been thoroughly scouted and secured in advance,’ the Swift source said.
After having to cancel her shows in Vienna, Swift shared in an Instagram post that the incident ‘filled her with a new sense of fear’ and a ‘tremendous sense of guilt.’
‘Walking onstage in London was a rollercoaster of emotions,’ she wrote on Instagram after ending the European leg of the Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in August.
The star went on to thank the authorities who helped take the correct security measures.
She said: ‘I was also so grateful to the authorities because thanks to them, we were grieving concerts and not lives.

‘I was heartened by the love and unity I saw in the fans who banded together. I decided that all of my energy had to go toward helping to protect the nearly half a million people I had coming to see the shows in London.
‘My team and I worked hand in hand with stadium staff and British authorities every day in pursuit of that goal, and I want to thank them for everything they did for us.’
Taylor also explained why she had until that point chosen to remain silent on the circumstances and confessed her priority was finishing the European leg of the tour safely.
She wrote: ‘Let me be very clear: I am not going to speak about something publicly if I think doing so might provoke those who would want to harm the fans who come to my shows.
‘In cases like this one, ”silence” is actually showing restraint, and waiting to express yourself at a time when it’s right to. My priority was finishing our European tour safely, and it is with great relief that I can say we did that.’

Given they are both all-time greats in their own industries, Kelce and Swift have dominated headlines ever since romance first blossomed last year, with the loved-up pair drawing attention from all across the globe.
Even for Travis, widely considered the best tight end in NFL history, the increased spotlight that dating Taylor has brought came as a major shock.
However, Kelce says his girlfriend’s ability to stay grounded despite her superstar status is what made him fall for her.
‘She’s very self-aware, but at the same time… she’s very self-aware. She understands situations like that and I think that’s why I really started to fall for her,’ he explained.
