Alert – Jason Kelce and ESPN ‘in talks for Eagles legend to host late-night show’

Jason Kelce’s ESPN duties could expand to him hosting his very own late-night show for the network.

Kelce joined ESPN in April following his retirement from the NFL, with the Eagles legend stepping into a role on ‘Monday Night Countdown.’

And now, it’s been reported by Puck that Kelce and the Worldwide Leader are in discussions for him to helm a late-night show featuring other athletes and celebrities as guests.

According to the report, the show would be aired on five consecutive Friday nights beginning in January.

The show would reportedly be produced by NFL Films and licensed to ESPN.

Kelce has certainly made an impression thus far on ESPN, as he denied being drunk during his return to Philly on Monday Night Football in September.

The former offensive lineman also made in appearance in the booth that night alongside Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.

Kelce’s antics on ESPN – such as him forgetting to pack a shirt ahead of his network debut – have at times gone viral, and that is reportedly the goal with his potential new show.

Puck wrote that the release time of the program, which is supposed to be 1am ET on Saturdays to be precise, would be designed for clips of Kelce from the show to spread on social media over the weekend.

Of course, the 36-year-old is no stranger to having his own show as he and his brother Travis host the successful ‘New Heights’ podcast as well.

However, at least one of his ESPN colleagues has previously slammed the amount of air-time he was getting on the network.

Following the Eagles’ appearance on Monday Night Football vs. the Falcons, Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo said, ‘I think we’ve all seen plenty of Jason Kelce in the last few weeks.’

Russo continued to complain about Kelce making an appearance in the Monday Night Football booth alongside Aikman and Buck.
