Police have seized a ‘number of knives’ after a British soldier was stabbed multiple times outside near his Army barracks in Kent.
Kent Police say the victim, in his 40s, is in a ‘serious but stable’ condition after he was repeatedly attacked with a knife around 200 yards from Brompton Barracks in Gillingham.
The force has said it is investigating possible links between the location and the suspect and added the motive for the attack is being explored as mental-health related and not terror.
