Donald Trump came out roaring in New Hampshire on Sunday night as he congratulated former GOP hopeful Ron DeSantis after he dipped out of the running.

The former president graciously thanked the Florida Gov. for endorsing him after ceremoniously dropping out of the Republican candidate race – while he took aim at his closest competition, Nikki Haley, days before the primary.

He said that the people supporting Haley are ‘pro-Amnesty, pro-China, pro-Open Borders, pro-war, pro-Deep State and they’re pro-Biden.’

Trump, 77, called her out for previously arguing against Trump’s border policies, and told the cheering New Hampshire crowds: ‘She will never secure the border.’

As he took to the stage in Rochester, Donald Trump told crowds tonight: ‘I want to congratulate Ron on doing a very great job.’

Trump congratulated Ron DeSantis for his efforts in his campaign – as well as giving the Florida Governor’s wife Casey a shoutout for her hard work.

The former president told New Hampshire: ‘He ran a great campaign, I will tell you.

‘He left the campaign trail today and he was very gracious and he endorsed me, so I appreciate it.

‘I look forward to working with Ron to defeat crooked Joe Biden.’

Trump spoke about his current indictments with jest – as MAGA crowds cheered him on. He joked: ‘I got indicted more than Alphonse Gabriel Capone.’

He also vowed to crack down on the fentanyl crisis in the US, as well as shutting down DEI systems across the country.

Upon hearing the news that DeSantis had quit the presidential race, Nikki Haley said Sunday ‘may the best woman win.’

The news came as Haley was addressing potential supporters at Brown’s Lobster Pound in Seabrook, New Hampshire with the state’s Gov. Chris Sununu at her side.

Haley is campaigning in the Granite State after banning DailyMail.com reporters and photographers from all her events over reporting on alleged affairs.

The former U.N. ambassador received cheers when she announced that DeSantis had called it quits Sunday afternoon – endorsing former President Donald Trump in a video message on his way out.

‘I want to say to Ron, he ran a great race, he’s been a good governor and we wish him well,’ Haley said. ‘Having said that, it’s now one fella and one lady left.’

In turn, DeSantis kicked Haley as he walked out the door.

He said Trump had his endorsement ‘because we can’t go back to the old Republican guard of yesteryear, a repackaged form of warmed over corporatism that Nikki Haley represents.’

Haley told CNN’s Dana Bash that DeSantis didn’t give her a heads up that he was leaving the race.

‘No, he didn’t call or inform me. And, look, this is what the fellows do,’ she said, adding that she ‘doesn’t take politics personally.’

DeSantis’ exit turns the Republican primary race into a tussle between frontrunner Trump and underdog Haley.
