Zach Bryan stunned fans on Tuesday with the unexpected news of his split from Brianna Chickenfry.
The 28-year-old country star took to Instagram to share a statement, revealing the end of their relationship after more than a year together.
Just 30 minutes later, Brianna, 25, subtly responded, announcing a social media hiatus and admitting she felt ‘blindsided’ by the breakup.
The shocking split marks another chapter in Bryan’s relatively low-profile love life, which has gained attention since his rise to fame after his song Heading South went viral in 2020, paving the way for his 2022 album American Heartbreak, a chart-topping success.

The musician has since erased nearly all traces of his marriage to Rose Madden, which ended a year after their July 2020 wedding.
Their brief newlywed phase quickly soured, and Rose followed suit by wiping her social media clean of any evidence of their relationship.
She even went completely offline after the breakup, only returning to Instagram in July 2021 with a solo photo captioned, ‘she’s ba—ack ;-).’
Zach had confirmed their marriage on Twitter on August 18, 2020, when, in response to a fan asking about merchandise, he joked that he was late getting to the merch orders, saying, ‘ya sorry brother, had to get married, that’s my bad.’

While talking to her co-host, Grace, the media personality stated, ‘I think I might have some stuff to address. I’ve been hanging out with a guy named Zach.’
She then clarified that he was 28-year-old country star and that the two had been seeing each other for ‘three weeks.’
She added: ‘It’s fun, it’s casual, and yeah, I just wanted to address it because the whole internet is freaking the f**k out and people are doing s**t,’ Brianna expressed during the episode titled, The Cat’s Out Of The Bag.
After they confirmed their relationship, the then-couple made their red carpet debut at the Grammy Awards in February.
On October 22, Brianna shared an emotional video on YouTube just hours after Zach announced their breakup on Instagram.
LaPaglia posted the video, titled ‘Love you guys, I’ll be back soon,’ to her Plan Bri UnCut channel. In the three-minute clip, she spoke candidly from the bathroom floor, explaining that it’s a spot that ‘gives her comfort.’
‘I just woke up to Zach posting on his Instagram that we broke up, and I had no idea that post was going up. He didn’t text me, he didn’t call me. I just woke up to a bunch of texts, like, “Are you okay?”‘ LaPaglia shared.

‘I’m at the point where it’s like, how can you give someone everything and love them so unconditionally, like through stuff that you shouldn’t because you just love them and you want them… like you see the good in them?’ LaPaglia continued through tears.
‘This is so embarrassing. I don’t give a f***,’ she added. ‘How can you give every ounce of yourself to someone and then be discarded of in a few days. It’s really, really heartbreaking.’
Near the end of the video, LaPaglia urged her viewers to respect her privacy during this difficult time, emphasizing that she would share her thoughts when she felt ready, but for now, she was feeling completely ‘blindsided.’
