A renowned international men’s magazine has publicly endorsed Donald Trump for president – as Kamala Harris’ presidential chances continue to dwindle.

MAXIM revealed its support for the Republican nominee through an X post on Thursday.

The post shows a bright blue convertible with Trump sitting in the driver’s seat. A model in a black dress sat cross-legged on top of the luxury car.

‘Maxim endorses Donald J. Trump for President,’ Maxim wrote in the post with over 137,000 likes.

The magazine publishes 16 editions and is sold across 75 countries around the globe. American entrepreneur and holding company CEO Sardar Biglari is the publication’s owner and editor-in-chief.

‘Catering to the modern man with content that promises to seduce, entertain and continuously surprise readers,’ the magazine’s website reads.

Maxim wrote in 2018: ‘MAXIM creates an unparalleled luxury experience that’s part fantasy, part aspirational and part attainable.

‘MAXIM embodies the life of an exceptional man.’

Trump-loving MAXIM fans took to the comment section to give their stamps of approval to the risqué magazine’s political announcement.

‘And you just lost zero fans. Probably gained some,’ said one satisfied X user.

People discussed how this endorsement may reflect a changing political climate, with one comment reading ‘people are no longer scared to come out and endorse Trump and I’m here for it.’

While others got a different take-away from the X post.

‘Sexy girls like Trump! That’s all you need to know, folks!!!’, someone wrote.

Another fan said: ‘Awesome. You guys have great taste.’

But not everyone was amused by the choice, as many skeptics voiced their opinions too.

‘You’re not even relevant. Because of decisions like this,’ one user said.

Another agreed: ‘Maxim hasn’t been relevant in 20 year.’

‘I’m so glad I’ve never picked up a copy of this magazine,’ someone chimed in.

MAXIM released its endorsement just as Harris’ voter support seems to be declining.

Trump has rocketed to 17 percentage point lead in the betting markets and a one-point lead across the top battleground states.

If Trump wins Pennsylvania, he stands a 91 percent chance of winning the election, according to polling guru Nate Silver.

A new Fox News poll revealed that Trump is two points ahead of Harris, while a PolyMarket poll predicts that Harris is still in the lead, but Trump’s chances of winning skyrocketed last week from 13 percent to 36 percent.

Meanwhile, according to the same poll, Harris’ chances declined from 71 percent to 63 percent.

The magazine was founded by Felix Dennis in 1995. It started off in the UK, but has been a New York-based company since 1997.

The signature words ‘Sex Sports Beer Gadgets Clothes Fitness’ were plastered across the cover of each printed copy before its 2015 rebranding, catering its content to an older, more established audience.

‘Men’s interests have changed and the world has changed,’ Kate Lanphear, the editor-in-chief at the time told the Wall Street Journal about the magazine’s new look. ‘We are trying to respond to the times we live in.’

Maxim reached its peak in the early 2000s, according to Fox News. More than 2.5million people read the magazine.

Now, Maxim mainly publishes online, but subscribers get print copies every two months. They are mainly known for their ‘Hot 100 list’, a list of the world’s prettiest women, chosen by Maxim’s readers.
