Jennifer Lopez narrowly avoided an awkward run-in with Ben Affleck and his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, as they all attended the same event with their children in Brentwood on Friday.
The Atlas actress, 55 – who is ‘planning a major comeback’ next year following her split from the Oscar winner, 52 – was joined by one of her twins, Emme, 16, as well as a few pals for the nighttime outing.
It comes just two months after Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20 – the same day as their second wedding anniversary.
The singer was stylish in a light gray jumpsuit that was secured with a belt that tied around her waist.
Jennifer slipped into a pair of open-toed, nude pumps and allowed her long locks to flow down past her shoulders in light waves.

Lopez carried a small, brown-colored purse over her right shoulder to hold a few items she needed.
She opted for minimal accessories to allow the outfit to be the main focal point, and added an assortment of rings on each of her hands.

Jennifer made her way through a parking lot while joined by Emme as well as friends whom she held a lighthearted conversation with.
The star shares Emme and Max, 16, with ex-husband Marc Anthony – whom she was married to from 2004 through 2014.
Affleck was also seen strolling through the same area alongside his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and their child Fin, 15. The former couple also share Samuel, 12, and Violet, 18 – who is currently away at college.
The trio were seen walking side-by-side as they talked to others that joined them as they headed to their next destination.
Ben kept it casual wearing a pair of light blue jeans as well as a red, printed shirt and dark red jacket.
Garner also dressed down wearing a pair of denim jeans and a black sweater to keep herself warm in the cooler temperatures.

The mother-of-three completed the outfit by wrapping a black scarf loosely around her neck, and donned a pair of black shoes.
Lopez and Affleck split back in April, and four months later, Jennifer filed for divorce from the Good Will Hunting actor after two years of marriage.
Earlier last week, the actress broke her silence on their split while talking to Interview Magazine – and described the separation as both ‘sad’ and ‘scary.’
The singer also discussed taking time before jumping into another relationship in the future and explained, ‘You have to be healthy. You have to be complete, if you want something that’s more complete.’
‘You have to be good on your own. I thought I learned that, but I didn’t. And then, this summer, I had to be like, “I need to go off and be on my own. I want to prove to myself that I can do that.”‘
Jenifer then revealed whether she has any regrets in regards to her marriage with Ben.

A source also recently told People on Thursday that Ben ‘never looked back’ after he moved out of his marital home with Lopez.
He had briefly stayed at a $100k-a-month Brentwood rental before purchasing a $20 million property in July.
The insider explained that Affleck is ‘very focused on work and his kids’ while adding that, ‘He’s staying busy and happy.’
And following the split, Lopez is planning a career major comeback in 2025 after Ben Affleck broke her heart in 2024.

The star will be making two big movies in the new year that have to do with raising her profile, a source said.
Sources tell DailyMail.com that Jennifer wants to shine in 2025. ‘She wants an Oscar for Unstoppable,’ a source stated.
‘She is sensational in it, I saw the movie and wow, she nails it. I think a lot of people have discounted her acting skills because she is such a glamazon but this film is a wake up call, like, hey guys, she can really act her pants off.’
And Lopez is very focused on getting an Oscar this time around because she was upset she did not get it for Hustlers, which she has been very vocal about.
