Multiple people have been injured after a car with P-plates ploughed into diners at a busy cafe. 

Emergency crews were called to the Coffee Emporium on North Terrace at Bankstown in Sydney’s west on Saturday around 11:30am after reports of a car crashing into seated diners at the cafe. 

Dramatic CCTV video shows the moment the brown Honda Accord with a P-plate visible on the back ploughed through the front of the cafe, directly striking a table of three diners. 

A spokesperson from NSW Ambulance told six people were injured in the terrifying crash.

‘Six people were injured, two [people] were transported to Bankstown [Hospital] and one [person] was transported to Liverpool [Hospital],’ the spokesperson said. 

NSW Ambulance told the female driver and another victim were assessed and released by paramedics at the scene. 

The other victim has been assessed and is en route to Bankstown Hospital. 

Four of the victims were females aged in their thirties, while another woman is in her forties. 

The car rammed into diners at the Coffee Emporium on North Terrace in Bankstown in Sydney’s west around 11.30am on Saturday morning. 

The age of the other woman injured in the accident is unknown. 

The spokesperson said the victims sustained minor injuries and were transported to hospital in a stable condition.

Footage from the coffee shop shows the Honda Accord with a P-plate visible on the back ploughing directly into a group of three seated diners. 

The driver of the car smashed through a black shaded barrier before ramming through the front entrance of the cafe. 

In the horrifying CCTV vision, chairs and tables are seen flying everywhere and debris from the furniture is strewn all over the floor. 

The three woman who were hit managed to emerge unscathed, with two of the victims seen getting up off the floor and walking away from the vehicle. 

The third victim can be seen gesturing at the driver as she stands up and holds her left hand up against the driver’s side door of the vehicle. 

Staff from the coffee shop can be seen converging on the area, rushing to move chairs and tables that were knocked out. 

Four of the victims injured are aged in their 30’s while another woman is in 40’s however the age of the other victim is unkown

A spokesperson from NSW Ambulance told the female driver and another victim were cleared after they were assessed by paramedics at the scene

Side-on vision from the dramatic moment shows several other panic-stricken diners leaping up out of their chairs.   

The diners appeared to be having their morning coffee when the car dramatically crashed into the cafe, the vision showing some patrons getting stuck in their chars beneath the vehicle.
